Guro Abon, thank you for this clip. These things you say will be heard by others.
Good to see!
thats incredible. You'd think with equal length weapons, both would be in range... but NAY NAY! lol
Did you ever get to follow up with this? I concur, this is very interesting/exciting.
Too cool.
It’s a super power. Love your escrima, thank you for making videos for us.
Is that 1/2 inch rope or 5/8 for the thickness of it ? Please 🙏
Thank you Guru for sharing this and other knowledge from your family system. Very, very impressed with everything I have seen, and more than that, I have been inspired by your attitude. There is too much negativity and ego in the martial arts community, particularly on social media. I agree with your point,if you don’t like how someone does a technique, say “thank you “ and move on,no need to attack them from the safety of your keyboard. Thank you and keep sharing.
Very well done sir! This is what arnis really is not the fancy movements just to impress.
wait.... so I didn't have to learn French rapier?! I could have been learning a Filipino style of rapier fencing. The arnisador in me is suddenly very depressed
What about big stomach vs small stomach 😂😂
Libby 😢
Great measures
Guro. Can you make a lesson on how to use the longer stick?
I still spend a lot of time watching trying to analyze the movements. I could only underatand a handfull. But the concept of the basic strikes are still there.
Instructional DVD please!
Very interesting!
Yes po! How much more if the “Aggressor” has the skill, their like a wild dog who bites the hand that feeds them. Maraming Salamat Po! God bless 😅
Salute 🫡 🇩🇴🤺🥷🏾
thats the best way. There is logic and intelligence in the movements. If you can explain it reasonably, then its a good move.
This was one of the best stick fighting that I have seen yet !!! Very impressive!!
Thank you for the positive explanation. We need more of this and less of the other stuff in FMA. I really appreciate this video... Blessings to you and yours..
All those disarms work great when the attacker locks his arm out for you. Try them when sparring
More accurate disarmed technique.
Nice move sir
Awesome that you are humble enough to demonstrate a new style that you have learnt. Welcome to the balintawak journey.
Thank you for your beautiful attitude towards learning and listening.
😎👌
Beautiful lesson, Guro. Thank you for your insight and your positivity. Your happiness and excitement for the art of Eskrima, for everyone, the peaceful music and scenery, all of it is so uplifting. This is why I love martial arts and you are a great teacher. Next time someone criticizes my technique, and I feel bothered, I will remember what you said here.
U want to embrance it ? Use your other hand the kalasag or sangang And dont forget the leeg and Foot
Loves from Turkey!
☝️💪🙏
my school originally taught us the close range serrada style, but we’re now learning a hybrid blend with largo. This video was such a helpful breakdown of the footwork. thank you!! :)
In Stockton the manongs use the Grape Knife. Bahalana! Mabuhay ng FMA!
Thank you for this wisdom. Some people's pride blinds them too much.
Excellent control!
@ John L Excellent control? This statement is pure BS. These guys aren't doing anything. Additionally, they are fighting without any footwork.
@@kevincage1641 it's a light spar so their control is good the hits are light for safety because they don't use gear, their footwork is fine because their sparring format is for traditional duels on benches where people move linearly, forward and backward
love this guys
Hello sir, I would like to know if you are still teaching via zoom 7 Henerales, if yes, how can I join the group ?
Cordial saludo, he visto varios videos sobre el estilo 7 generales (henerales), me gustaría saber bajo que contexto usan la palabra general (heneral), significa as in english when you say ´´ general speaking ´´ or used as when you name a person who is in the army forces as for expample general Patton, in second world war ?
Pugay po.
Great stuff
When a retired Darth Maul or Donatello decides to play with his Bo staff again
Pugay po❤️
Can you show florette strikes with the 4 foot stick.
Good stuff
, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge
Thank You so much
You are beautiful with your movement.
Thank You so much
Pugay!
Nice i like the way you use the thumb with the balisong.
Glad you like it, thank you so much
