We started our journey as a group of artists in 2015. A couple of years later, in 2018, VSQUAD was founded in Ukraine, Dnipro. Since that time we have been providing outsourcing services. We work with projects in the style of Ruined King, Darksiders, Smite. As well as projects in the style of Casual games.
VSQUAD Studio is:
- Highly motivated team
- Focus on styling, hand paint, PBR;
- 10+ experienced team leaders, as well as 20+ employees;
- 80% of artists have experience in AAA games;
- 8+ years of experience;
- long-term partnership with clients.
Our services:
1) Creation of stylized characters of the full cycle - from blocking and finishing with textures and shader setup in the engine.
2) Stylized environment - we will create 3D models of the environment or just props of any complexity.
3) Sculpting - do you need only high poly? We can help you with that.
4) Texturing - you have only ready models, what you need to do is to paint them. We can take care of that.

Братан, в чём смысл выпускать два туториала, по сути одинаковых и оба на английском, на котором ты с трудом вяжешь слова? Типо, туторы база, последовательность построения оч хорошо раскрыта, но можно было один на русском или украинском выпустить, а второй на английском, тогда был бы смысел.

Wow, this is amazing! I love creating hand painted textures in Substance Painter.. but I can see that you can get much greater result in 3d Coat.
It's all about practising. So don't focus on software. We are confident that you can achieve awesome results even in Paint or so 😉

At 5:00 how do you go from sharp brush painting on edges to very smooth transition so quickly? I assume you use sharper brush for edges and switch to smoother brush? Could you tell me in general what kind of brushes you use for painting and erasing? I pretty much always used standard one for both, but it's always quite sharp and its difficult to get such nice gradient. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.
Hello, It’s all about quick change of the brush size. I have hot key for size like A D. Like in game. The brush is standard soft. The same for all painting The sharp effect is achieved by changing the size and by erasing from sides with another brush size. So, you’re painting like with large soft and erase it with small soft
