SoCal Sirens & Aviation
Добавлен 3 ноя 2013
Hi, I’m SoCal Sirens & Aviation, formerly known as Duderocks5539. I’am a siren enthusiast and an Avgeek. I also like Rockets, Jet skis, Dirt bikes, and other stuff like Fireworks. All of which you will find here.
I’m also the one who owns one of the old sirens from San Onofre Nuclear Generating (SONGS). Which is the Model 120, the siren that was once known as a “Toshiba.”

Unhushed Gulfstream III and Boeing 727-223 depart ONT 5-30-24

I came out to see N710CF depart, and luckily N289MT decided to go up for a flight shortly after the GIII departed. Unfortunately 26L is closed, so they took taxiway November instead of Sierra and departed on 26R. Both still sounded fantastic though. Very first time F-35’s have ever visited Long Beach Airport. These 2 jets are apart of the 308th Fighter Squadron “Emerald Knights” based out of Luke AFB, and came in to support a Parade flyover for Armed Forces Day on May 18th taking place in Torrance.

After 16 years, this work of art returned to the sky. I've been eagerly waiting for it to return to the sky for over 5 years when it was teased in 2018 of getting new engines and doing taxi tests. I'm not too sure as to why it hasn't flown since 2007, but I heard it's because the engines needed to be overhauled or replaced, and they didn't have the money, so it sat parked since then. I believe ...

Up close of an absolutely beautiful 57 Year Old DC-9, yes, 57 Years old!! This is the oldest DC-9 still flying in the world, carrying line number 79. No rain or wind this year, so I was able to pull it out and rotate it and run it for 6 cycles of attack, then I light off a “R’s” 16 shot cake, along with some Red Apple Chroma shells, and some "DBZ" and "WS" shells. Take a listen at the end at that ambience though!

ECHO 19 should make these PW JT8D-15/-17 sounds for the FSS Boeing 727-200 in MSFS 2020/2024.
ECHO 19 should make these RR Spey sounds from the BAC-111, the Fokker F28 and the Gulfstream Jets (GII/GIII), all three separately, for MSFS 2020/2024.
That's a nice looking 3T22

with a 5,100ft runway the only way this deal works is they can run small fuel loads and almost no cargo loads.........still a hairy operation........you for sure don't want any engine hicups at this place.......gotta go see a takeoff here for sure..............
GOL, LATAM and a few other carriers until not too long ago ran flights from Rio-Santos Dumont to as far as Brasília. 2hr flight, taking off from a 4340ft runway, using 737s and A320s
@@nerd2814 you get 5 brownie points for that info.........
John Wayne Airport only has a 5700 foot runway and it’s very busy
This is the old SAS DC9-21. It was made for short runways in remote locations in Norway with the short fuselage of the 10-series, but wings and engines from the 30-series. It was a custom series of aircraft only made for SAS. They are as close you can come to VTOL in a DC9. 😂
If you want to really see what the DC9-21 can do, look up "SAS DC 9 takeoff and short field landing Værnes 1996" here on RUclips. You will be amazed over how agile this aircraft is.
the best performing commercial jet right here.........the short 9 outruns everything...........the pilots of this thing got some bravery to run it out of this field..........
I can't tell you how many years this chime went off at noon in Sea Isle City, NJ. This year it was silenced, they say they have a new warning system. It is so missed!
