@@GwyndafS2 Most definitely! I'm building a '74 hc 2 door at the moment. Weld in multi point cage, seam welded shell with a narrowed Cortina mk4 atlas with Quaife en30b 2 piece shafts & 280 lsd. 4" pcd hubs to match the front. Sold the YB Cosworth engine & now going with a hotted up 7000rpm 4.6 Rover V8!
I've never a car sound so much like an angry lion. 😀

That last comment that the announcer made he must been high or misreading it no car can do a mile and 3.3 seconds.
I think he means that per mile, the sport quattro was 2.3 seconds faster than any other car.

@@GwyndafS2 lancia delta, quattro and 205 are obvious ones.... A V6 3l mid mounted metro is just off the hook ...I learn to drive in an old Austin Metro....before the newer rover metro was released....I guess it holds a special place in my heart...

Watching the start of a stage from down a straight, he took 10s to reach us, and the best of the rest was 12.5s to us .. to gain 2.5s over such a short distance was phenominal.

@@GwyndafS2 Oh fair enough nice one, I chased them up for ages dealing with the photos but it was dealt with another company who "couldn't find any of my number" i eventually found them when i did a manual search 4 weeks after the event finished. Just wish they could make things easier to find, would of been nice to find my ending video as well! Good job team! looks much easier than doing it solo.
Was planning to do it solo after I had a heart attack the year before but 4 pals from work came with me. made it much more fun!

IN-NY 18 - The car usually at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Carfest. No longer has the PDK gearbox, still owned by Audi UK though :)
