The zweihander in this game is great for pve the r2 just flattens most things into a knocked down animation

You can actually get Quelaag's sword, but you need to upgrade curved sword (a falchion or a scimitar is easiest) to +10 and bring it to a later blacksmith. You also need Quelaags soul to do so, so don't go using it. Also check the grate in the wall just below where the bonfire is at firelink shrine. Remember that guy you freed and said, 'man I don't know if I can trust this guy'? unfortunately, you cannot.

Part of the reason you are struggling is because of your equip load, try taking off some of your armor more often and then you will have a faster roll with more invincibility frames and overall makes you faster. Makes the game easier. btw great series man

A good way to check for mimics is to look at the chain coming off the right side of the chest, if the end is pointing to the front then it's a mimic and if it curves to the back then it's a normal chest.

You can light firelink shrine bonfire if you invaded and killed golden knight in anor lando so you can return fire keeper to make bonfire work again

You need to check for a cell under the firelink shrine bonfire, you'll see the actual fire keepers loot and how to re-light the bonfire. Also, punch the chests with your bare hand to tell if it's a mimic

Fun fact: ceasless is a child and the only reson he attack's you is because you defiled his dead sisters grave.

If you didn't know, you can challenge the mimic chests and fight them and they will usually drop great loot. the one you found in sen's fortress has something decent inside

The G returns with the best weapon! If the name is hard to say for you, just call it Zwei, or the Bass Cannon. That's a very old meme but everyone loves it. Here's a tip for the mimic chests: Just hit every chest with the overhead slam before trying to open it. If it's fake you do damage, if not no problem.

That's what you getting for taking shittiest Blighttown entrance lol. But seems you got lucky, first time i took wrong turn which lead me to Blighttown campfire from where i searched for descent for almost 2 hours even when local population wasn't a much of issue. At this point i'd advise to make trip to scellies for upgrade to 20 flasks. Remember to bring decent shield!

You can tell if a chest is a trap by the way the chain on the side is pointing, if it’s pointing towards you it’s a trap, if it’s pointing away it’s safe

You remember that red dragon in the beginning? You now got a bow and arrow. Try to cut its tail from a safe spot(just shoot to its tail) You'll get a powerful sword for the beginning of the game. Just never ever EVER upgrade it. It gets next to NOTHING each time upgraded. And its special upgrade material is like impossible to find.

Dude, whatever you see in this game that has a large tail, TRY TO CUT ITS TAIL. 90 percent of the time their tail is a weapon you can use. If you cut the gaping dragon's tail, you'd get a dragon king greataxe. Wich is super heavy, needs tons of strength but it does DAMAGE bro

stop using humanity to heal you can permanently get more 5 more estus flask with 2 humanity at a bonfire

Weapon upgrades are probably your best bet for using some if not most of those souls, especially early on you'll get more damage increases from that than from raising stats. Upgrading armor is more niche, really not necessary but if you find a set you like there's no harm in making it better if you want. Other than that, level what you want to level and have fun with it. Looking forward to the next video.

Excellent choice of music for when you were traversing through the Darkroot Garden. It perfectly fits the feeling of wonder, mystery, and hidden dangers of a Dark Souls first playthrough. Fully enjoy your first playthrough, because it will never happen again. 👍
