Track RUclips Ads in Microsoft Dynamics
We bought the premium version with so little documentation we about to cancel it because it’s not working
Ie what should the hidden fields be called, channel or organic etc, how does it link from calendly to pipe drive, how do you know it’s working
Doesnt the browser already have all this data in a cookie? We just need some php and js to push the data into blank fields. What is the value add for charging monthly fees?
Heya. Thanks for the comment. So the value adds are probably as follows: 1. The browser does not automatically store this data in a cookie. You need to write Javascript to tell it to store it in the cookie. 2. You would then need to write a lot of logic to categorise leads into Channels that are useful to marketers to when it comes time to running reports. Simply capturing raw UTM parameters or HTTP referrer data is chaotic and virtually unable. So you'd need logic that categorises leads into channels like 'Paid Search' 'Paid Social' 'Organic Search' 'Organic Social' 3. You would then need to maintain and regularly test this to make sure the data is accurate. For instance, we run over 1,500 automated and manual tests on Attributer every week to ensure it's working correctly. Browsers are launching new versions each week, there's new devices and operating systems coming out frequently, information availability is changing (such as the downgrading of referrer data, browsers stripping tracking parameters like GCLID, etc) 4. You would then need to support it if your marketing team has questions about how it works, why certain data is getting pulled in, etc. Ultimately this is like any other software. If you know how to code, you could write something yourself (in the same way you could build a CRM or write your own accounting software). The question is more 'Is saving $49 per month worth the time and effort I would need to put in to build it, test it, maintain it, support it, etc.' I can't answer that question for you as I don't know you, but I suspect if you are a software developer (who is likely earning or costing your organisation over $100 per hour) then your time is probably spent on other priorities
Ah, Ok Your program is advanced. Im just trying to get off the ground running a little marketing company. I bring home about $20 / hr. I have 10 websites so $2400 a year would kill me. I just want to let my clients know if their contact form lead came from organic, adwords, or social media. I just want the name of source included in a basic field in gravity forms. From what I understood about browsers, this data would not take rocket science to extract into a hidden field.
Is there an option to capture GCLID in a hidden field?
Yes there is. You can read more information here: help.attributer.io/articles/capturing-the-gclid-number/
sucks its not ghl
Question... When I am on the campaign level adding my campaign-specific custom parameters, do I need to add the original tracking URL that I created on the account level to the "Tracking Template" field, or is this redundant and unnecessary? Thanks!
Hi! Great video :) Quick question does this need to be incorporated with Google Tag manager? The company I work for has different types of enquiry forms on the website and we have Google tag manager setup. We are running Google ads for different landing pages and services and are getting conversions but we can't tell which have come from Google Ads, Organic Search, Facebook , LinkedIn etc when receiving the lead via Pipedrive. So will using Attributer show the source for this in Pipedrive and how easy is it to incorporate with our current set up?
Yes, you can install the Attributer code through Google Tag Manager and many of our customers do. Yes it will show the source of leads in Pipedrive. You can read more here: attributer.io/blog/track-lead-source-pipedrive As for how easy it is to set up, it depends a bit on what form builder you are using but you can usually get it up and running in 10 minutes or so
hello, how do you set the campaign and ad parameter so that it automatically picks my campaign and ad set name without me having to manually set that up on each campaign?
Unfortunately you can’t. That’s why it needs to be done using custom parameters
@@attributer thanks for the reply! one last question: in the account settings tracking section, should I turn on parallel tracking? reading the info it seems better because it would load the pages faster...What do you think?
Great, how do you capture the gclid though. Does it work for that?
Yes. You can learn more here: help.attributer.io/articles/capturing-the-gclid-number/
No issues. Chrome is phasing out third-party cookies, but Attributer stores the data in first-party cookies. You can read more here: help.attributer.io/articles/what-about-cookie-blocking/
Interesting. What’s the potential issues with Google likely to go cookiless?
There isn't any. The phasing out of cookies refers to third-party cookies, not first-party cookies. First party cookies are fundamental to the way the web works and aren't going away anytime soon. They are how an eCommerce store remembers what items are in your shopping cart for instance. Attributer uses first-party cookies to store the data, so there is no issue.
i need edit that values from hidden input
Yes you will. Attributer stores the data the moment they land on your site, so regardless of which page a person completes a form, Attributer will always pass the data through
what if they land on another page and then click on the lead form page and fill out the form?Will we still get all the data?
Great video! Got one question for you on this. Why do you need to use the {_campaign} and {_adgroup} in the tracking template instead of just {campaignid} and {adgroupid}. Would that work as well?
You could that and it would work, but it's worth noting {campaignid} and {adgroupid} will return the internal Google Ads Campaign ID and Ad Group ID, which is essentially just a long string of numbers and letters. It's pretty much useless. That's why you do the custom parameters (I.e. {_campaign} and {_adgroup}) as you can specify what gets returned (I.e. a legible campaign name)
@@attributer This may be a silly question but... what if you're tracking multiple campaigns and want to use this method? Does using the same custom parameters (i.e. {_campaign} for every campaign) confuse the system and make it so it doesn't know what to spit out when _campaign is used? Or does it really have nothing to do with an underscore specifically but really just ensuring you add a unique character or symbol within the curly brackets that's unique to each campaign?

hello! I try to get these UTM parameters and i need to insert them on my form in wix website. You can help me?
Very well explained. The other videos just ramble on.
Could you explain the differences between manually adding UTMs to each URL behind the ad vs. using tracking templates vs. putting the UTMs in the final URL suffix field? Do all methods result in the same outcome? Is there a "best practices" implementation method out of the 3 options? Or is it just a difference of how much time/how manual the process takes for each?
Yes, they all have the same result in the end, which is the UTM parameters are in the URL when someone clicks the ad and lands on your site (which ultimately means the analytics tools you have running on your site can see where these people are coming from). As you said, the main difference is time and how manual the process is, but I would also add that using tracking templates results in better data. I have seen several times where people are creating new campaigns, ad groups, etc and forget to put the UTM parameters in. If you're using tracking templates (particularly at the Account level), then they'll always be applied.
Does this application replace the use of UTM?
RUclips seo optimization not using
It seems you've diligently followed the necessary steps, including setting up the GTM tag and configuring the hidden fields as shown in the instructional video. However, the data isn't displaying on Typeform as expected. Could there be an element or step I might have overlooked?
Hello, first of all thanks. What I want to ask is, how can I submit Track source from Organic Traffic in zoho (like whihch organic post come in?)
This is extremely useful
Pretty cool
outstanding. Thank you very much!!
I’ve been on and off looking for an explanation like this for 2 months lol so thank you for the very helpful video. I apply static utm tracking to every ad in the ad final url for a very complex client and we’re finally transitioning to a dynamic method. 😅
Hi great video btw! what is the contact info for the support team please? I have a few questions about final URL suffix
UTM: {lpurl}?{_campaign}&{_adgroup}&{keyword}
hi thanks for video, does this work with GA4 ? google analytics 4
Yes it does!
{lpurl}?{_campaign}&{_adgroup}&{keyword}
Nice Man!! Can you share with us the UTM parameter you use?
{lpurl}?{_campaign}&{_adgroup}&{keyword}
hi sir@@attributer do you have a facebook or twitter where in I can ask you some questions?
Hey, I have one question. How do we track which ad is getting conversions now with RSA?
hello! Does this work to track the buttons that send to another domain? I need to track sales from my store that is on another link, not on the main site but wix removes the tracking from the button
Hey Brian. Is your store on a subdomain of the main site (I.e. store is at store.brianssite.com and your main site is at brianssite.com)? If so, Attributer can work for you. It stores the UTM parameters in a cookie which means they can be passed through regardless of which page/site the user submits a form on. If however, your store is on a completely different domain (I.e. store is at briansstore.com and your main site is brianssite.com) then Attributer unfortunately can't help you because the cookie cannot persist across domains (a limitation of first-party cookies more than Attributer itself)
How to put adgroups in custom parameters
Brilliant explanation of the Google Ads Tracking URLs. You're perhaps the only person that actually understands and explains its usage correctly. Only minor issues (for future videos) is that the sound was very low and difficult to hear, and the video/image too small (I ended up using earphones on a mobile and pinching and zooming). Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Totally agree he’s got one of the only helpful, concise explanations, I didn’t really have audio issues thankfully
I have the same issue as Andrei. There is a single line that displays in my form while the rest of the box is hidden. How can this be fixed?
Nice dude
Put this link bellow
How copy this UTM parameters to Google Ads?
Very nice. Thanks for this.
They are not completely hidden... I can see some sort of line in their place. How to go about fixing those?
