In 1 Chronicles chapter 29 verse 15, King David says, "We are foreigners and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope." Despite King David declaring how the people are being so blessed as to able to give generously (1 Chronicles 29:14) and despite eating and drinking with "great joy" (1 Chronicles 29:22), the people of Israel cannot escape the fact yet that despite all the blessings that God may give them in this short life, they still have death awaiting them with no evidences yet of any resurrection. They do not have much clarity as to what awaits after their deaths. As King Solomon also wrote, "Anyone who is among the living has hope -- even a live dog is better off than a dead lion! For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun." -- (Ecclesiastes 9:4-6). God gives his people Israel more hope through the prophet Isaiah later in history, when Isaiah writes, "But your dead will live, LORD; their bodies will rise -- let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy -- your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead." -- (Isaiah 26:19). How would the people of Israel know when this would happen, even though God gives them prophetic hope now? That answer, obviously, comes from the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus not only stated that He is "...the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." -- (John 11:25-26) Jesus, not only raises himself from the dead as evidence, but he also raises Lazarus from the dead after prophesying these words (John 11:27-45). Also Paul states in the Bible, "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, as so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." -- (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14). Finally, Paul gives more hope when he writes, "Listen, I tell you a mystery; We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:51), in that not every Christian at the end of this Age will die, but will be changed into an imperishable body (1 Corinthians 15:52-53), which I believe comes from full obedience to God's word as "they have washed their robes and made them white..." (Revelation 7:14), as they purposefully "made them white" by continuing to work out their salvation with "fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12-13), until the full repentance and full obedience is completed, as "[t]hey will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." -- (Isaiah 61:3).

This for me is indescribable,like wow.Jesus is Christ the Son of the living God❤.The relief and everything splendid one would think of is what I feel after reading and watching the Word of God. 11:54

This is what really stood out to me 2 Timothy 2:11-13 NIV [11] Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; [12] if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; [13] if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

Shane I saw your interview on CBN I don’t understand why you are so weak. Your hat says revival but your words say I am woke and I am weak and I will placate the devil. Did you forget that we are in a war for the souls of every child on earth. You should repent and spend a couple of weeks fasting for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Would a shepherd allow a wolf in his sheep fold?
