TY!!!
glad to hear your doing good
Thanks! Glad to be back@
I am experiencing the same thing: shifting grade levels EVERY YEAR -- too much!
I don't really understand how elementary teachers can do it, but to have to teach the depth of a HS level course that's new every year is such a toll sometimes.
welcome back! so happy you are back!
Thanks!!! I'm really excited to be back at it too :) Is there anything you really want me to talk about?
@@engineerdoeseducation I will def let you know if I think of anything specific. You are STEM and I am English (teaching 8th grade for the first time next year...), so some of my questions are ELA specific, but maybe class management would be something I would be interested in... TY for all you do; it is extremely helpful!
@@engineerdoeseducation Maybe discuss systems when you do not have your own classroom and you travel from room to room???
yay!
I'm very interested in your classroom essential set up guide...I'm not seeing where it is located. Can you help me?
Sorry for that delay, heres the quickest link to getting that to your inbox! It's one of my favorite tools.

I love this!! Thank you, this is sjust what I needed to hear today! 💖💖💖 Ditto on the health. I need to refocus my energy from other areas to get at least to a B-!!
Preach girl! Minimal classroom materials! It really does lower stress level! :)
Where is the link to the Classroom Essential Set-Up Guide, please?
You can find the link in this post! engineerdoeseducation.com/episode-6/ I just found my own print out yesterday and am reworking through it all!
Do you have a link to your stamp ?
I ordered a custom stamp on Amazon, but the inkpad dried up super quickly during the year so I would probably pick a different vendor where you can get replacement inks
Thank you! This was really good. I am a kindergarten teacher, but I can still use these tips. I wrote down each tip as you listed them, but I'm missing something between Teacher Procedures and minimal wasted time because I only have 6.
I really needed to hear this today while I worked on my lesson plan.
I'm glad it found you at the right moment! No matter what falls to a B-, you're still doing great!
Thank you for this. You are such a blessing! Thanks for all the amazing videos and blog. I pray that God continues to bless you 🙏🏼.
learnt something new! Thank you
Interesting concept! I don't have many choices at all in my small space and I found that having to remove myself from that setting wastes too much of my work time. Fortunately my desk is now associated with good focus. Time of day seems to come into play more than my location. I do find that I don't focus well outside! Another teacher says that helped her, but it doesn't help me.
Small spaces are tough but definitely time of day matters! I'm glad you have something that works!
I am excited about this video, thinks are teaches literature.
How do I find the "show notes" if I'm watching here on RUclips?
This is a problem I'm still trying to figure out! RUclips wont let me link in the description (I wonder if my account is too small). The easiest way is to head to a podcast app (for now) or this link player.captivate.fm/episode/3f2b2418-e619-440d-ad34-c5b8de12d858 and it will show the show notes! My goal for next week is to get my site updated with all of the past episodes, show notes, and links on each one, but I really appreciate the patience!
gah, ok, that link worked... here's the free template hello-engineerdoeseducation-com.ck.page/unit lets see if that works!
Im very excited for the next episodes 😊
Sam, if this was a series of Sam Ideas, I would watch them all… just saying 🤪🙌🏼 thank you for the idea
Thank you so much! I'll try to include more as I go through the year 💕
This is amazing
Thank you! Glad it can be helpful
Where I’m from, we don’t have a syllabus for our courses. But we still have (and communicate) all those rules and expectations. So this is very helpful. Thank!
Thank you so much. This will help me a lot!
Glad it can help! I'm getting really excited for the unit and lesson planning series in July!
@@engineerdoeseducation me too 🤩
Thanks Sam. I'm with you on seeing multiple months at once to plan better. Plus, the more control you feel you have the less anxiety it creates and more relaxed you feel.
Great insights!!!!
Thanks for the video! I’m really glad to see how others plan so I can inform my own planning.
Your lesson planning makes sense! Years ago an administrator hold me to keep lesson plans as a living document. I like seeing the different ways to create your lesson plans for physics!
Super helpful. Planning a unit always feels overwhelming for me, so thank you!
new subbie here!! this was super helpful. Def look forward to trying this with my students!
Oh I'm so glad!! It's a ton of fun for everyone and really does help!
Enjoyed seeing your doodles. What grade to you use these for? Do you have any doodles for Phases of Matter or Solutions? Thanks!
Thank you! I've done these with sixth through seniors and they love it! Lower than that and I would suggest having clipart printed onto a notes page for them to use instead. I've been working on doodle reference sheets and will be happy to work on phases of matter for you!
@@engineerdoeseducation Thanks!
