interesting vid, I hope you will have some vid recording practice maybe put up a monitor connected to your camera so you can see when you are totally out of frame at vital points. and please a better mic, I am looking to mod an actuator for my car seat (a disabled seat that moves from the driving position into the back of my car so I can transfer from the wheelchair to the driver's seat and be moved in to place, currently it takes what feels like several lifetimes to move the 1.4 meters I had been thinking about using a drill motor and this helped to clarify a few things, a shame you did not include the limit switches maybe in a future vid. I will be using a speed regulator to control how fast for fear of launching myself out the back of my car! and will be adding remote control so I can operate it when I have had a carer drive me and forgotten to put the seat in the back of the car then I can just press the remote and bring it back to me. this does seem to be a very limited amount of vids on actuator modding maybe you could do a series and share your ideas.

I am confused and hope you can help me. I have a large .. basically equivalent to a tank like drive battle bot thing I purchased. it is 24v, twin motors. One drives left side. Other motor drives right side. Motor controller for each motor is a Victor 883 24v. Seller told me all I had to do was hook it to an RC receiver and controller and it was good to go. (once programmed remote/transmitter) Well Ive purchased and installed now two different RC receiver w/ matching remote/Transmitter and in both cases the 883 flashes that no PWM is installed. What am I doing wrong?? At a complete loss.

With your weapon motor, is there a setting on the controller that limiot how much it spin/the axe travels? When it when back and forward the axe stopped but it looked like the moter didnt carry on with it. I'm trying to build a beetle that uses a rack and pinion set up so im ideallly wanting the motor to spin only the amount each way that i need the rack to move forward and back.

That's a nice build right there! I was thinking about this kind of lifter the other day and wondering if it might be better to rotate both arms in the same direction, so they don't drag in opposite ways if one gets stuck on the underside. I've not seen any lifters doing that though.
