No rational person could accept the number of contradictions and inconsistencies in the pages of the Bible. The only value in those pages is for the curious to know how those ancient people lived and what they believed.

YES obviously the Bible is easily understood in every context if you read all of it objectively. Most objective history scholars agree that there's no evidence for a Jesus - either as God or mortal man. Jesus is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated in human history.

There are many places today where people speak a local mother-tongue with family at home, or among close friends, while speaking a more common language generally.

Hood was the maiden name of his paternal grandmother..They all lived in very close proximity to each other, and did not travel far in those days.
