I remembered my Panay USAFFE guerilla Father telling me they were also involved in wrapping up preparations for the return of Gen. D. Mc Arthur. . This is very good movie considering it was released just 5 years after the war. ❤❤❤👍👍👍

I knew Gina Lolla was a hottie, I did not know she was such a competent Romcom actress.

This film has a serious basic flaw in it. The mother didn't tell the three soldiers that she created Eddie Campbell because she didn't know which one was the father and her daughter needed a fictional father. She was taking a stipend from all three of them, under the premise they were all the father of her daughter. This film makes no sense really, plus why would they wait 18 years to see the daughter they were paying for? I mean that's semi possible, but they didn't know anything about the Eddie Campbell scheme, plus they didn't know an Eddie Campbell. Sure, not everyone would know a KIA, but still. The plot makes no sense. On top of that, there was no need for a fictional father anyway. She could've just named one of the three as the father. The more I think about the plot, the harder my brain hurts.

Will watch anything with Gregory Peck in it.

More than hour has been cut from the original stage production and at least a half hour from the original film, including several songs. Despite this, the pacing is slow and leisurely. The audio cuts out in several spots. A disappointment.

I love "The Ten Commandments" Charleton Heston Version but, I truly believe this movie DESERVES just as much recognition!
