My daughter was also born with 3rd stage , she cudnt make it she fought for 10 days .
If this happens to you, and you have no other option but to keep going in life, this does not make you a miracle child. This is not a miracle, this is a life sentence.
What about in haemorragic mothers? What are the impacts of critically low haemoglobin for 3 days postoperatively?

My 1yr old daughter was diagnose with this. Unfortunately here in our country.. It was so difficult to have an appointment for consultation regarding developmental delayed cause i think my daughter has tons of things to work out. But we just have to keep on going and praying that in good times she will be healed..
My daughter just been delivered today. Also HIE. At this moment on going cooling therapy. I pray the best I could.
@@n.aminr.7175 how's your daughter doing? Any update?
@@vingill9151 Hi Gill, expert pediatricians told they were very concern of her hyperactive responses after woke up from HIE faint right after delivery. But now, it turn out she's doing really great (6 months now). very fast recovery in 2 weeks NICU on whole body cooling treatment (3days+12hours off treatment procedure. morphine aid on 3rd day). Since the hospital was very busy with pandemic and lockdown thus until today couldn't update with EEG. but she never had any epilepsy for a sign of severe / mild brain damage. Thank god. Brain ultrasound also did not show any degrade / hollow in her skull. Vital organs recovered fast. Everything looks great. No motor disorder. Her sensory all showing a great responses like a normal infant. Very responsive in communication and everything looks great. She's also very smart and strong. Just that she sometimes (very seldom) had a hard time swallowing liquid. Just always made sure her nasal is clear right after bath (I bought a suction aspirator and sterimar (do not force clear on blocked nose)). Improving fast. We always compensate and improvising. I think that helped her a lot. Provide a lot of love with a lot of gentles and soft physical contact. Sleep is crucial on time and sufficient. You have HIE kid too?
@@n.aminr.7175 thank you for sharing your story. Your daughter is a miracle baby. My sister gave birth yesterday and her son has HIE, they moved him to KPJ Damansara ICU and my sister is now going over to see him and understand what's the status. Hopefully nothing serious and he will bounce back asap. 🙏
@@vingill9151 forgot to mention my baby undergoes immediate wholebody cooling instead of head cooling (less than 3hours after delivery (critically no more than 6 hours)) within the same hospital, HSI Johor. (I studied on some research journals showing wholebody cooling is far more efficient.) Just sharing for others too. Wish your nephew gonna be just fine.

Hello Krishna. The HIE Help Center RUclips is sponsored by a medical malpractice law firm handling cases of babies and children with HIE. Since we are not doctors, we cannot provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatments; we can only provide general information on HIE. We encourage you to contact a doctor near you with any questions you may have regarding HIE.
@@hiehelpcenter hi
The reason why there are no comments from parents is because the children that have this condition keep you very busy but with care and patience..... my daughter is developing well and we are coming off meds. 2 steps up and one step back but there is progress in that. Thanking God daily.
Will they be able to have normal lives or do they have lifetime disabilities
@@gianfmm Great question that can only be answered in time. I did a lot of research on many things to help my baby. I noticed no emotional bond and lack of regular BM. So I set some quick rules that have showed great promise. 1)Hold baby as much as possible to create an emotional bond to help mental development. 2)Feed baby as much as needed to maintain weight (breastmilk is best if possible) 3) Avoid Tylenol and absolutely no Motrin ever. 4) no smoke or fragrance environments 5) Avoid loud startling noises 6) massage baby daily. 7)Occupational therapy is your friend. 8) Reseach kristalose powder to detox baby system . We are slowly coming out of it and I work at it everyday. Baby communicates short words and sit up now. (12months old) It can be done. Dont ever give up.
My baby cousin was said to have this , and the doctors said he would die because his heart kept failing and a miracle happened , he was showing signs of reacting and also he started speaking now he is like a baby that never experienced it , I don’t know what it’s going to cause for him in the future , but that is he future and I’m just thanking god that he saved my wonderful baby cousin 🙏🏻
Our baby was diagnosed with very mild HIE. No signs of seizures and doctors decided no need for an MRI. Breathing is normal and heart as well so no supporting aids on those. Tomorrow they start warming her and test her feeding. Fingers crossed on those! Just wondering if there will be any late developments that might show later when today is her day 3 and no symptoms except that lactate test which was the only concern since first reading after birth showed 9.8 and yesterday was 1.7 which is a great achievement thanks to the cooling therapy
My baby is also suffering with this. Can you pls advise any treatment.. He is 6 year old. Unable to walk and talk... He is only sliding with one leg.. Pls suggest any treament
Thank you Casey if I lived were you do I would talk to you about helping me with my learning disabilities Ocala FL does not have any thing like what you do I do the best I can
