Buoy That Was Fun

Thursday the team was out in Howe Sound doing mooring buoy repairs and installation. Mooring buoys are incredibly important as they assist with diver safety (giving divers a line to descend along), a solid dive point in poor weather, and they help the environment by preventing extra anchoring's!

Special note: We now have a new Captain aboard and most of you local divers know him. Captain Brian Caron! He was out on his first solo trip on Monday, the group had a fantastic time and were highly complementary about Brian and the crew. Brian had a wonderful trip and even had our guide Baz (who is also a professional rock climber) showing one of our fearless snorkelers how to scale the cliffs.
