Has anyone ever tried to amend this law ? I’ve written a Proposal on why we should Exclude Overtime Earnings from Child Support Calculations since overtime is not guaranteed but don’t know what the next step to take to try and get this changed.

I'm looking to file against CPS Hays/Comal. Child was placed w/ us last December for adoption. We have had to repeat ALL paperwork, tests, etc., NOW they're saying it will be another 6 mos. I have a shop that I need to get opened in Florida, and this is keeping us stuck in TX.

My 5yr old daughter was diagnosed with very rare medical conditions in 2021. She suffered her first emergency in March 2021. She suffers sudden crashes in blood sugar, blood pressure, respiratory failure, seizures, loss of consciousness. These emergencies come on suddenly and requires 24 hour monitoring in order to catch and prevent them. The Endocrinologist who treats my daughter has made 4 false reports to cps. Prior to making his first report, he threatened cps involvement when we were asking for further testing. Fast forward to October 2023 the Endocrine team finally acknowledged they misdiagnosed the cause of my daughter's emergencies. They had been accusing us of not medicating our daughter which was a baseless accusation as blood tests showed our daughter's hormone levels perfectly balanced at all times of emergency. I. The past 11 months after they acknowledged their error, they have dropped all contact and made 2 consecutive false reports to cps. Our daughter has suffered from nearly 2 dozen life threatening emergencies over the past 3 and a half years. She now has permanent brain damage and significant loss of motor functions. The tests that were refused for years turned out to be necessary, providing data and proof that more was going on. This team is abusing their power and making false reports to cps in order to cover their mistakes.The team heading my daughter's care is the team making the false reports. There are 5 other teams involved who have all been very professional. Unfortunately the Endocrine team does not communicate with any of the other teams, going as far as to lock our daughter's file/reports so the other teams need to request special authority in order to gain access. It's been devastating witnessing my daughter suffer. Our child's life is a serious risk, and the team heading her care is more concerned about covering up their mistakes.. if anyone can help, give direction or legal representation, it would mean the world to us. This only talks about custodial parent violating. What about non-custodial parent not comply or follow visitation schedule repeatedly or for a long time, can custodial parent hold the non-custodial parent for legal consequences?

u must work for Cps. u r giving ppl BAD advice and telling them to allow these ppl who have no authority to talk to their kiddos or it "looks bad". when all that does is help build a case against them when if they refuse then they wouldnt have a case. Please DO NOT listen to this mans advice. its all bad. Never speek to cps or allow them to speek to your kids. allegations are just that and they cant do anything with that unless they get more info from u or your kids and need u to participate, therefore if u dont then it ends there!!! if u do then thats ehen they start collecting evidence and use everything u say or they see in ur home against u and turn everything around that is nothing into somethimg. DO NOT COOPERATE WITH CPS EVER unless they have a warrant in wgich most cases they do not. Dont ever think it will look bad to not cooperate or u have nothing to hide. thats how they get u and will turn nothing into something and u will regret it and they have bo authority until u give it to them

The Law is vast encompassing many tentacles that seem to weave in & out &through its many tentacles which quickly entangles. Texas Child support system is a scam for good active fathers who actually want to be a good active parent and their child’s life. The state forces them to choose a fucking job over their family fuck the court system.

I was told it was my right to know who reported me for "being homeless with a child" back in Kingsport, Tn. Around 3-4 yrs ago, when we were temporarily staying at my cousin's apartment. Case worker (Chris) came in, talked to us, including my underage daughter & looked around my cousin's apartment to make sure she had a bed to sleep in. Told me everything looked fine & the case should be closed, but when I called to check if it had been closed, he told me they had to wait for Heather, the supervisor or whatever to get back from vacation, so I called back after she was to come back & found they still hadn't closed it, nor was I ever allowed to know who reported me for "being homeless with a child". Found out they had another investigation going on. In the long run....I wound up losing full custody of my daughter, even after going to CPS in Blountville, Tn & having papers drawn up for "temporary custody" (for someone to temporarily take care of my daughter until I could get back on my feet). Had it LEGALLY SIGNED & notarized. Then, was told I had to come to court because the couple had decided (doctors) to sue me for full custody "because I left the state". They told me if I didn't come to court that the judge would get me for "child abandonment". I didn't have a leg to stand on & couldn't afford a fancy lawyer, so I didn't stand a chance. Now, not long ago, they went to Bristol & "adopted" her... A "adult adoption ". We've stayed in touch through text messages & phone calls the whole entire time & even through Facebook & messenger before I finally deleted my account. Is all that really legal??

I've NEVER been informed of a child interview at school until AFTER they've conducted the interview. Those people are LIKE LICE. Once they get in your head you gotta shave the whole damn thing off and sometimes that doesn't get rid of them.

My niece as temporary guardianship of my grandbaby for a year it's up now she won't give my daughter back the child. She she's being mean to us for no reason I need help.
