Amazing March Dividend & Option Income!
U my got my sub based on YieldMax funds coverage 🎉
Thank you, much appreciated.
Tesla is so overrated. I don’t understand what you see. They had split earnings and the stock popped like it was great.
Well they did beat expectations significantly, compared to expected. They also increased margins on all sectors including adding a new stream of profits from the cybertruck which came earlier than expected. As well as continuing to ramp up their energy business and the margins there. With new products also coming soon and therefore income streams coming from there very soon.
@@denniskunert I seen a beat on earnings and under on revenue. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe this makes people Optimistic. But I keep hearing these great earnings and I thought earning and revenue makes earning great, not just one. I see Tesla as a car company so I’ll never understand.
@@myronspikes104Where you're wrong my friend is Tesla is much more than a car company, with many things going under the hood that align with the new world we're entering the future is extremely bright for Tesla.
Exactly, they’re not only innovating the car space, but also expanding on it. As well as moving outside of the car space going into energy which cars will rely on in the future, as well as AI and robotics which will build out the future.
AMDY was my favorite YieldMax at one time, but I decided to go with NVDY because of more growth and a healthier dividend. AMD stock is very volatile, it goes all over the place.
I do agree that AMD does go all over the place, I have noticed that on the chart. And yes NVDA the underlying for NVDY, has been performing quite well. But I do think NVDY might be at its end soon, but of course if that is the case that means AMDY would be affected as well since they are in the same market. But I’m playing on the fact they have yet to have their break out moment which they’ve previously had in the GPU space where they were competing well with NVDA.
@@denniskunert Thanks for the reply, and I will definitely keep my eye on AMDY.
@@denniskunertnvdy is close to being like AMD. Market cap is super high. It will eventually reach its peak and start trading downwards. AMD has a long ways to reach the 2 trillion market cap. If it keeps doing good. aMD could be trading very well down the road. I like AMDY and I have a lot f shares of AMDY
100% agree, I’m also adding more shares into AMDY, it’s an undervalued underrated stock at the moment.
Any time people describe mathematical facts (returns) in qualitative terms (amazing), they are lying to you.
Ugh Elon is not a nice person.
Roundhill is suspected of overpaying distributions and that will begin to affect the nav. More time needed to let this play out.
Well done Denis, keep up the great work!!! I’m using some of my income to tick off a HUGE bucket list item - I’m taking the family to a ultra luxury Maldives resort, staying in an over water villa, the size of a house!!! Our villa also has a slide into the lagoon, with the beautiful turquoise water. I’m also surprising the family by upgrading us from Economy to First Class!!! All up, the trip will cost approximately $100,000 AUD, and I have made nearly $623,000 in income from my port, which includes NVDY, AMDY, IWMY and QDTE. Cheers!!!
Thank you, I’m sure the family will enjoy it, and that the first class upgrade will be worth it and a a great surprise. The portfolio is looking great and! Hopefully you enjoy your trip, the Maldives is a beautiful destination.
Stay focused Dennis, you are doing great!! Enjoyed. Thank you.
Thank you, much appreciated.
I had 5 different stocks that never got paid out so far this October, NVDY FIAT MSTY CONY and TSLY, so, I would like to know when are they gonna get to paying again, or are those 5 that I mentioned going to pay weekly then I just gotta be more patient?! 😜
They switched the schedule so you have to change their new schedules for when you will be receiving your payout
Invest week one into 2, two into 3 and so on.. that way you dont have to wait a month for that money to do something.
Good rollup Dennis. I am doing something similar with a different portfolio distribution and a little less diversity. One notable difference is that my Yieldmax positions are heavier in NVDY instead of TSLY. We're at two different points in the journey, where you are building an income stream to shed reliance on a traditional position in the workforce, while I am developing an additional income stream to fund an early retirement. Although that difference exists, it's fundamentally superficial. That demonstrates that anyone can benefit from learning enough to put their money to work for them. Keep up the good work.
Thank you sir, I hope you’ve been in NVDY since inception, because it has performed amazing. But yes seeing how well these funds can push me to early financial freedom, but these funds are great retirement funds. Especially if you don’t have a high monthly expense and can afford to reinvest to keep average cost low if nav falls and even continue to grow.
Just tricking people into thinking monthly payments are weekly but if you own one in each week you get every week but each stock stayed monthly
Well it’s “tricking” most people already hold most of these funds, and YMAX and YMAG is now actually weekly paying.
Its awesome but also useless info because you scroll too quickly past your investments vs monthly dividends Slow down, show us for the month of XXXXX that you have XXX number of stocks, and your total cost for that stock is XXXX and the monthly dividend (return based on investment) is XXXX That way we can see the difference between the low paying dividend stocks vs the high paying dividend stocks. I.e., you have 1000 bucks invested in a low payer and it returned 25 bucks or whatever in the month. compared to a high paying dividend stock that you have 750 (or whatever amount) invested in and it payed you $98 bucks in the same month. thanks
I’ll be sure to add that in to the monthly, I don’t really show super detailed because I do smaller detailed videos on distribution weeks, but since now everything is weekly I’ll go ahead and add it into the monthly update.
Nvdl a good wheel strategy very good at moment been selling puts
I’ve heard of this etf, currently just trying to diverse into spy and qqq funds and then move into others.
Hello seen utube vid on new income etf selling day options on spy monthly payer but leaves room for it to appreciate close to spy 500 it's new so no payment yet very interested in this one coz of both income and appreciation so check out tspy
how much money are u using for the TNA options. Have u considered selling puts on SOXL because the return on your money is better
Roughly 10-12k currently ima asset value, forgot the actual amount I put In but should be around that mark. And I just find TNA since it’s based off the Russel being a lot safer even with its 3x leverage
not YMAG?
YMAX had YMAG funds and plus others I don’t mind owning, so might as well just have YMAX.
Would it be wise to invest into all Yield max ETF's equally?
Ahhh, I wouldn’t recommend it, I would do research on their underlying and figure out which one you’re okay of having long term.
Why mess with these weeklies which are "weaklies?" Just stick with MSTY.
Well they are pretty good payers as well having little to no nav erosion and good underlying and strategies.
Another click bait title
Not really clickbait, they were pretty terrible dividends compared to the past weeks and months.
I am not sure one week of a sub average dividend justifies ‘Terrible Roundhill Dividends’ title. Not trying to be picky but title should sell the main points. In this case roundhill Qdte and Rdte were below their average weekly rate but is not a trend (yet) and is consistent with their variability over the past few months. If you want people to watch and return for more videos then be fair in your titles and content. Anyone can make vague generalizations about one lower than average dividend payout.
Well it did sell the main points, terrible payments from QDTE and XDTE for this week, and YieldMax YMAX and YMAG first payments. I understand it’s not a trend therefore I stated that it’s just this week and also that there was growth as well even with the lack of dividend payment.
Nothing ""terrible"" about Roundhill dividends. Even at the lower dividend last week I'm making 24%. I'm earning over 35% with QDTE. Best fund I have ever owned.
Well the funds themselves are great and I mentioned that we might’ve gotten a lower dividend which in a sense is “terrible” comparative to previous weeks and month. But there was growth this week with the QQQs and their overall returns are good, with dividends and nav. So just for this week they are “terrible” in my eyes, with the dividends.
@@denniskunert I basically agree with you. I think "terrible" is a little dramatic. .
Yep. I would call them smart and sustainable dividend payments. It depends on what one is looking for. I find nav stability, plus a 20-30% dividend to be a perfect mix.
Roundhill will go up on dividends, but they will keep the NAV with some smaller payouts. I like XDTE for good returns.
roundhill pays on average 33 cents a week for for 38% so no way this fund is paying 68%, the math does not add up.yieldmax states that fund pays just under 16% on their site
16% per week
@@crazywaffleking it's not a set price, it can range from 19-43 for instance
Synthetic covered calls didn't work out this week because of P Diddy
Nice
I own all yieldmax etfs and let me tell you they have changed my life.
Interesting! I’m a older guy and don’t think so swiftly on some of these investment strategies. So thanks for this idea. Sounds like it will work.
I don't really care much for weekly dividends, just as long as it all ads up to an overall monthly, high dividend yield. (For these covered call ETFs) Nevertheless, thanks for reporting this!
Flatley Rapids
QDTE and XDTE weekly dividend payout works well for me.
Smart.
Taxable ???
Yes it is taxable
I hope this makes an impact on nav reduction...all I need is someone to explain to me how.
Well the weekly payments will probably not do much besides decreasing share dilution with YMAX and YMAG due to multiple payments. But their new bullish strategy that they are implementing on all their funds which is using spreads or in other words buying call above their covered call, which allows them to gain some of the upside once it goes past their covered call.
@denniskunert yeah that will help keep them from getting capped-if I understand it correctly. It's a smart/interesting move on their part.
QDTE & XDTE works for me
YieldMax's New Dividend Strategy: YieldMax ETFs announced they are shifting to a weekly dividend payment schedule, effective September 12, 2024, but this does not mean each ETF pays weekly. Instead, the monthly payments are distributed across different weeks. Grouped ETFs for Weekly Payments: YieldMax organized their single-stock ETFs into four groups (A, B, C, D), each group paying dividends on a different week. This ensures that if investors hold ETFs from each group, they can receive dividends every week. Examples of Groupings: For example, Group A includes ETFs like Tesla (TSLA) and Group D includes ETFs like Amazon (AMZN). Investors with ETFs across multiple groups will get staggered payments throughout the month. Potential for Compounding: By reinvesting dividends weekly across groups, investors could benefit from a compounding effect. Each week's dividends can be reinvested into other ETFs, potentially increasing returns over time. Competitor Influence: YieldMax’s decision to switch to weekly payments was influenced by competition from funds like Roundhill’s QDTE and others, which offer similar frequent payouts and appeal to investors seeking regular income. Compounding vs. Consistency: YieldMax's grouped strategy may not produce the same dramatic compounding effect as some funds, but the staggered payments still offer consistent income that can be reinvested, particularly beneficial for single-stock ETFs. Benefits for Investors: Weekly payments provide flexibility for investors who prefer more frequent income, similar to receiving a paycheck weekly rather than monthly, and can help with managing cash flow.
Brown Shirley Lopez Kevin Lee Ruth
I like this way Yieldmax is doing it much better than an actual weekly payment from the same ETF like QDTE. This way I get the benefit of a monthly dividend amount and then still cash flow on a weekly payment into the next weeks ETF on the ex dividend date and then rinse and repeat.
I def agree the only thing is that you have to have at least one single ETF in each category which for someone could be an issue if you might not like in one of the groups, but if you are okay with the funds then this is def a great weekly return with monthly scale income.
People kept asking Jay on the interviews that we won’t weekly . They finally gave what the people wanted
Yeah, and in some ways this could turn out to be a turning point for them and really launch their returns, especially with the new spreads for the upside
@@denniskunert how can i find that interview with Jay? Thanks
Not a fan of any YieldMax funds because of NAV decay. Owning TSLY into oblivion until it dies but never buying any other YieldMax funds again until they truly redeem themselves with something that has little to no NAV decay. I have big position in QDTE now -- will see how RDTE compares to QDTE over time.
I will agree that QDTE and the Roundhill trading and overall performance is way better, but YieldMax ETFs with certain ETFs and their underlying do offer some good returns.
Done OK with MSTY and NVDY but some of the others are really bad.
Sorry for the long comment here - many may not read this because it's more than a sentence, 🙂but here goes! I invest in high yield funds like SPYI, QQQI and SVOL (IWMI soon). So many other funds seem/feel like they prey on an ever evolving (or devolving) part of our society that sacrifices what we want most (total return) for what we want now (yield). I love what Larry Kim says (SVOL fund manager): "total return is the truth serum". Looking at Yieldmax, I see Jay as a salesman first, releasing many funds to see what sticks and grows fast (appears to be quantity over quality many times), in order to build his company...which to an extent, I get. Sylvia (Defiance - very intertwined with Yieldmax) is also gimmicky-feeling (maybe SPYT is an exception). I just believe they somewhat prey on retail investors' vulnerability and quest to receive $$ now (with a very real loss and reduction of total return). NEOS is the real deal; their interviews exude trust and competency, and they stay focused...and subsequently their AUM grows...long term their funds will beat/eclipse/be more stable and consistent than almost all other CC ETFs; this simply speaks to Garrett + Troy and others staying with their core principle: options strategies (like their name implies), and building long-term, quality funds that strike the balance between NAV growth and stability + premium income, on a monthly basis. I feel concerned for many retail investors who could/will likely lose a great deal of opportunity over time by thinking they are getting a "free lunch" with Yieldmax. Always remember that there is no free lunch in the market - returns will ALWAYS normalize to their true fair value over time. Quality, growth and returns are, of course, linked to the underlying...but returns are also linked to the quality, structure and management (and most importantly: consistency!) of the fund itself, and this is what NEOS brings. The key is to buy quality at a sustainable fair value...no exceptions. Yieldmax and Defiance, for the most part, don't represent this. Just be careful out there! :)
Heyyy, wow this is soooo brilliant! 😝
I would agree with everything you said, in time... QDTE has paid 25 weeks thus far... only 5 of them have been over .40 cents (9 or 10 have been under .30 cents)... So, having the .40+ cent weeklys being sustained would be key to your point, but it might be coming, who knows. YM has funds that completely outclass QDTE over the last 6 months (QDTE inception), just not AMZY, as AMZY is roughly equal. The message should be that Roundhill funds could COMPLIMENT a more volatile, higher paying income YM portfolio (so could GIAX from XFunds, AIPI and FEPI from Rexshares and the T's from Defiance)... The youtube community shouldn't favor one over the other, but discuss how the different options available can compliment different strategies. That's where the desire is... People have different goals, and knowing all the options are key. But wishing you continued success as you grow your channel and platform, nice work.
I want to earn from here
Lol
I'm trying to understand how the YieldMax strategy (with covered calls) is different from just tracking the price of NVDA without selling covered calls. If a stock grows by 5%, both the stock and YieldMax would go to 105 from 100, but YieldMax then pays a $5 dividend and drops back to 100. Why are covered calls needed to do this? Where does the premium from the covered calls go, and what advantage does it provide over simply tracking NVDA's price?
Well NVDA doesn’t always go up therefor You wouldn’t have that growth to sell to provide an income. Whilst YieldMax ETF would provide income no matter if the underlying is up or down. In general these ETFs should be used as a growth strategy if that is what you are looking for, they can most certainly grow as my portfolio has in the past year, but it is all based on the funds you choose and if they have the growth potential with or without reinvesting.
So i got my first divident in sept and i saw sudden drop in the share price. Now that is nav erosion, then how it is works in growth? Will there be months when divident paid without nav erosion. If not then how it make sense as growth?
Well the price will always go down when dividends are paid out, but there will be months where the growth outpaces the dividend payout so you will have growth and dividends. All depends on the underlying
@@denniskunert I am trying to answer to myself this question, how is this different from just tracking the price of NVDA itself without the covered calls? Where does the premium go? For example forget covered calls premium. There is a share xyz at 100, there is a yield max share say yxyz at 100, if xyz grows 5%, it will be at 105 and yxyz also grows to 105, yxyz gives $5 as divident and agina went back to $100. Why they need covered calls to do that. Why not simply do that instead. Its the same thing without covered calls. I am just trying to understand, where is the catch?

Great work Denis, so nice to see someone who is not a rapist like Khmer in the high yield space!!
Well done Dennis!! Keep up the great work!! I currently have 22,178 shares in NVDY, but when I get paid next week, I’m going to reinvest in QDTE, as I currently have 852 shares in QDTE, and I’m looking to grow that to 8000 - 10,000 shares in in next year or two.
That’s a great looking portfolio, huge divie returns. QDTE and XDTE definitely should be a great addition, being able to track their underlying a better than YieldMax is a huge advantage.
should I be freaked out if my value and price have gone down in the last two weeks...is this normal? just started buying up yieldmax funds so Sept will be my first pay outs.
Well the market is trending downwards, so your ETFs will as well. If you picked a fund with an underlying that you believe has long term growth you will be fine. But nav erosion is normal in these type of funds.
Nice job, i like your transparency
you will buy XDTE? and whats your opinion about the new RDTE?
I’ll probably begin to buy XDTE in a couple months, waiting for it go under the 50 day moving average. And I like rdte and I think it will have good returns because I trade options on the Russell, but I personally wouldn’t invest because I already am heavily Allocated into it
