Looks like a better life then we live today

I spent 5 years working at the bottom level of Faye Winze. It was hot, hard, and dangerous work, but I loved it, and the pay was great. Getting published in the Harvard Business Review as "Development Miner, Eldorado Nuclear Ltd, Uranium City Sask." was amazing. Saving lots money and correspondence courses finally got me into a mining engineering program, and the rest is history. The cafeteria and rec hall are still fondly remembered.

I went to Gunnar for shore lunches and touring the mine site (the docks were perfect shape and handy) the last time we went danger radiation signs were posted and reclamation was in the works. thanks for the memories

Wow Ken I spent a lot of time there. repairing boats curling fishing etc.such a shame it closed down. I approached the government to make it into a northern Vegas. i still fly in and fish the big lake such an amazing beautiful place thanks for the memories

My brother was born there. My mom and aunt were married there. Wikapedia said you had to have special rcmp clearance and make an oath of silence to work there (been edited many times). My brother was murdered in Calgary labourday 2000 and the whole project shows sign of a masonic cover project.

Thank you for all the effort to put this together. Although reclaimed, it will always be "home"
