In this video I winch the logs sideways up our property and then up to the house. I had to use multiple snatch blocks to redirect the line and the logs. I mill up a piece of wood that I was going to burn into lumber. Had great diffiuculty with rocks that were grown right into the wood. I used my Sthil 441 magnum with a Granberg Mark 3 chainsaw mill. I will be air drying the wood outside until I can move it inside to continue to dry it.

In this video I review a bracket that I made to hold my portable winch level on trees that were way out of plumb. This was my solution to the out of level issue I had been previously having with my PCW5000 winch and my PCA-1269 anchor strap. This was a relatively simple solution that I created with materials that I had on hand. It works great and I have not had an issue since I made this.

In this video we try out our new winch by winching a few logs up our steep property. We encounter a few problems with the winch mount but we work through them. We get the logs ready to swichback direcition on the way to the house.
