What is the PDI set up time for one of these?

As mentioned, shift and resume is proper way to use headland mode when turning around. Set the 2 different cutting heights is case you want to lift over a rock or something and still be cutting. I was here to remember how to get my header into float mode.

I can't find "swath map" in the toolbox/layout setup. I see everything else "swath" theres just not swath map. please help

Do you know how to set it when using automation? When we are on a side hill the spout adjusts to a different position based on a hill. Must be tied to a tilt sensor somehow.

Set point 2 should not necessarily be used for headland turn arounds. There is a mode specifically for headlands. And you hold the back shift button and the resume button and that will put it in headland mode and will automatically raise the head past the max height set point so it kicks the counter off. If you have your headland settings set it'll also adjust your sieves and fan speed to adjust when turning around to minimize crop blowout.

A majority of the macdons have the headsight tilt sensors and then you turn your lateral tilt on I think.

Thanks for a great tutorial. I don’t have a way to weigh the load in the field. Have to send a load to weigh it when delivered. It can take up to 2 hours to get the load from the field to the delivery point. Can I just create a new task in the meantime and continue to harvest while waiting for the weight info of the load after it has been delivered and use that info for the “Yield 1” task for calibration?

What if you don't want to re-mark and create a new line? For instance you get to the end of the field and you only have 8 rows left on a 16 row machine? How do you quickly skip 8 rows without creating unnecessary new ab lines?

Where did you get the tool box to hold your discs and meters?

I was just using my friends 14 foot seven shank Écolo tiger 870 with this exact set up

I think it's better to set the 2 set points for different working heights as you can just use shift + resume and it will lift up to turn around

Thanks, just got a 8010 with a Pro 600. Good info so I can Calibrate this fall! Had a 2188 with Ag Leader PF Advantage before. It was very accurate, I see this combine has much the same sensor system.
