Mic’d Up Fast 4 Tennis: Inner Game Techniques Meet Aussie Power!
Step onto the court for an intense, mic’d-up Fast 4 singles match against Viv, a powerful and consistent visitor from Australia! Played at the amazing PublicIndoorTennis.com, this match features the same Fast 4 format used in USTA NTRP Nationals and the Next Gen ATP Finals. The rules are simple but ruthless: first to 4 games wins, and at deuce, the next point decides it all. With sudden-death pressure on every deuce point, you can’t afford to lose focus for a moment.
Viv’s heavy shots and aggressive play had me scrambling all over the court, testing not only my physical game but also my mental focus. Throughout the match, I leaned on techniques from The Inner Game of Tennis to stay compose...

This Fast 4 match was a true test of my tennis skills! I faced Chris, a super consistent and hard-hitting 3.5 player who made me pay for every mistake. His shots were powerful, accurate, and relentless. While I managed to grab a few games here and there, Chris dominated the court from start to finish. Despite the loss, I had a blast and learned a ton. My second serve is starting to show more sp...

Fast 4 Tennis: 3.0 Player Crushed by 3.5 Powerhouse!

This was one of the toughest matches I’ve ever played. As a 3.0 player, I faced off against a relentless 3.5 opponent in the Fast 4 format, the same format used at USTA NTRP Nationals. In Fast 4, the first to 4 games wins the set, with no-ad scoring and high-pressure points at deuce. From the start, I was completely outmatched. My opponent's power and consistency left me struggling to keep up. ...

I know, funny. No one makes mistakes. Humans are pretty perfect
I find it very odd how you are always noting the hits and the bounces and verbalizing them. I would practice predicting and verbalizing where the opponent's next shot is going to (your forehand or backhand).
@gab_ale Then my advice to you would be for YOU to do exactly what YOU just stated and I'll keep using my method. 😉
@@carolinamictennis LOL. Ok. Good luck with that then.
@gab_ale I don't need luck. It's called a process. 😉
Looking better and better. No wonder Nadal retired. Didn't want to face you. He was like, "Oh hell no"😮

Good match man. You improved a lot! You handle pace well, and have a good attacking game. Keep up the good work!
@@pushersdiary thanks so much! And thanks for the tips! I look forward to playing again when we both get time!
i had as much fun disliking this vid as you did doing those voiceovers
@disp3rsion You should probably look up the meaning of voice-over.
@@carolinamictennis From google: a piece of narration in a movie or broadcast, not accompanied by an image of the speaker. Hope that clarifies things for you. Let me know what else I can do for you
@disp3rsion you could go away, that would be a great start.

Nice match. Seems like you had better technique.. But you were inconsistent... Maybe a slight grip change on you forehand ... And work on a second serve... You'd kill with that imo. I'm interested in seeing your journey of improvement -cheers

@@carolinamictennis what is disrespectful about that? Should he have hit it straight back to you? It was a great dropshot and a good serve is one thats difficult to return
@tobynicholls1682 yes, part of tennis is that you are supposed to hit the ball back nice and easy so that the other player doesn't have to take more than 3 steps to get to the ball.
Tennis is such a gentleman's sport. With all that you are supposed to do and not. @@carolinamictennis

You both have a regripping error on your serve. It looks like you both start at the line with continental, but 100% change your grip in the middle of your motion. Hat especially so. Take some video closer to your body and you’ll see it clearly. I see this is in 90% of the <3.5 players in my area. It’s virtually impossible to develop your serve without fixing it.
