Interesting pairing. Oh, the silly masks- even in 2021 they were useless and a sign of hysteria. In 2020, understandable but by the time of this public reading, unnecessary. Sorry for the mini-rant. As I said, it’s a good pairing of writers.

Asian firms in the room (Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Tai) make money off the hood, but: a) Don't play black music. b) Don't put up Black History posters. c) Are dirty (esp Chinese restaurants). d) Are typically rude to customers. e) Have Asian organizations where they work together but then don't help donate funds to black organizations trying to uplift blacks.

The author relinquishes that this book is based on true facts. The postcard is among the most acclaimed and beloved French novels of recent years. Luminous and gripping to very last page, it is an enthralling investigation into family secrets. When I notices the cover the female model looked like a person I don't like, but the book isn't about her it is about family secrets, I would rate this book a 10 1/2.

Karlen's book is trash just a self indulgent cesspool of lies about his supposed relationship with Prince most of the book are excepts from other books about Prince nobody wants to hear about your relationship with Prince where is the substance

The God of animal poems you are! One of the best poets writing today!

Excellent writing. Loved his use of the right word for everything. I enjoyed the novel immensely but his extensive handling of the Obama election and gay rights was a bit too much, specially when the reader is already knowledgeable about it. Also certain topics were repeated more than twice making it unnecessarily lengthy like the school drama. Loved, loved loved his references to poetry. Nice playing out of emotions between family members. The topic of one sister choosing the religious path and another being so liberal and gay is an important one in today's fiction. His research on religious viewpoints and other areas was extensive and sound.

Hamilton Nolan is wrong more than he’s right, but what’s important is that he has such strong agendas with his conclusions leaping far beyond those of any reasonable writer. Why do we have to have all these “opinion” pieces by journalists? Just give us the facts and let us decide. Stop trying to manipulate us like Fox News!

Profound experience reading this book, and this conversation deepened that experience. Thank you.

This women are just insecure about white women and Sara is a hypocrite because she is married to a white men . Conclusion they want to sell books and stay home. If white people are racist you think Sara will marry an Asian dude. But she doesn’t want her kids to look Asian that’s why she married white dude. I’m Asian and trump 2024.
