    I think for a lot of women the burden of mental load is a contributing factor in the decision to not have children. Mental load can be one of the things that leaves you feeling like a mom zombie. Like every thought you think and everything you do is for your children and your household and you have nothing for yourself. Women can see that by hearing their older sisters or friends or their own mothers talk about their lives and it seems like they've lost themselves to that wife/mother dynamic. They are no longer an individual who has time to satisfy their own interests, needs, and desires. They see so much of the person that they knew going by the wayside and replaced with this mom robot and they don't want that to happen to themselves.

    Even good daycare workers are overwhelmed with the current ratios. How do you calm 5 or more crying babies at once? You don’t. Babies in daycare have higher cortisol levels for a reason. 8-12 hours away from mom and dad is way too long, and there’s data to prove that daycare has negative outcomes on children’s mental health even well into adulthood. This has nothing to do with daycare workers but rather capitalism itself and overworking our parents instead of focusing on building healthy humans at home.

    I certainly agree with this I don't feel like children should have smartphones or social media especially when social media is not meant for children at all. Like when you sign up to Facebook on RUclips or Twitter or Instagram illegal requirements to have a social media account number one is you have to be 18 years old and if you think it's okay to give your child a social media under the age of 18 you must be okay with old men and strangers looking at their photos on the internet and seriously if you don't agree with me you need to take some time to understand that social media is not meant for people under the age of 18 Facebook was built for college students as was Myspace and Twitter

    • @Jackariah-N.
      @Jackariah-N. 4 месяца назад

      I definitely believe there are some alternatives if you need your child to be in communication you can get them a flip phone or a regular cell phone without access to the internet that can be controlled by your phone provider and only allow her or him to call you or their other parent or other family members and as you go yes you can add their friend's phone numbers into the phone. I genuinely believe we should be teaching our children to write letters and send emails again so if they want to communicate with their friends they can write the feelings that they have in the moment so they can show them later or they can practice their typing skills while writing an email from one parent's email address to the friends parents email address

  • @555gin

      In reality people don't need to be able to communicate with each other 24/7. Why do you think people got along relatively better before the internet?

      Children need to have a childhood before technology, take them to the park, allow them to have friends over for playtime or sleepovers, children before phones did just fine without them.

    1. Helium makes balloons float because the Helium has a lighter density of air. just like a block of wood will float on water and a block of iron will sink. 2. The water is blue on the TV probably because they're artificially enhancing the colour saturation of the tv shows so it looks better honestly. 3. The earth is round actually because of the force of gravity pulling everything towards it's centre. The same force that makes the earth a sphere, which it actually isn't a perfect sphere either. Is the same force that keeps you anchored onto the planet as the planet spins. Similar to if you took a sharp turn in your car and you get pulled to one side of it. When the earth is spinning, your constantly taking a sharp turn towards the ground. That's how orbits work too. 4. That kinda sounds a little bit like a birds and a bees question maybe. But I would say maybe. Boys and girls have different genetic ingredients put together to make them. Women have two XX chromosomes and males have a XY configuration typically. Fun fact men have nipples because the default state for a fetus is actually female until it starts developing male features later on, to my knowledge anyways. I dunno how to answer that one either i'd be scared if my child asked me that lol. .5 Why do the raptors play basketball and not football? Honestly it's probably both a combination of their extreme interest in basketball as a sport, combined with their extreme morphologies. which means they're physically atypical from the rest of the population. Typically like NBA players or World Strongest Men competitors or Usian Bolt who can sprint really fast, or that sport where they try to hurl a heavy stone really far. They have extreme variations to their bodies that aid them in their sports. The stone thrower might have abnormally long arms. Usian Bolt might have speific calf muscle insertions and leg length abnormalities. Basketball players are typically freakishly tall although there are outliars too. it seems like short people might have niche advantage actually in basketball. But they like doing it and are good at it naturally?

    Oh man this makes me feel so prepared. 1) Helium is lighter than air. (Air is made up of mostly nitrogen and oxygen gases, and it even has water floating around in it that we call humidity! Nitrogen and oxygen are heavier than helium, and so is water! 2) There are so many explanations for this one but I’m going to rely on “cameras have lenses that they can put pieces of glass on called filters. Filters can change the way colors look. They maybe used a polarizing filter to block out the light(colors) coming back from the water which makes it look dark!” 3) The earth is sooooooo big and heavy that it makes gravity stick us all together and stay on the planet. The moon is smaller than earth and has less gravity, so you could jump really high! (The atmosphere is actually the vital component to gravity. I guess questions 1-3 are ultimately questions about the atmosphere.) 4) That’s a very big question for however you decide to explain gender roles. Good luck 🍀 5) *Why???* 😂 I only have a one year old but I am so ready to answer her questions!!

    This is where a planning sheet comes in handy. Split the washing up between three days, lights darks and colours. The hoovering, you only need to do that once a week. Do that while the clothes are in the washing machine and dryer one day. The bathroom you can do on another day while the clothes are being washed and dried. Same goes for changing the bedding on another. Dusting and polishing you can do on a day for itself when you've got more to do. Cleaning the house daily you can do while listening to a podcast. Yes, a child makes this more difficult and a plan needs to be flexible, so enough contingency plans and 'if this happens, do this' deductions will be helpful. If you realise it would have been easier to do things in a different order to how you did them, take note and take the time to map it out. It becomes habit and makes things easier down the road. And also, make sure you take time to decompress. If you don't have that at the end of the day and would rather just go to bed, set an alarm. Spend half an hour with the baby, or if you need to be alone, set a half hour timer while you can and just sit with your own thoughts or read or partake in a hobby, just like it's important for a breadwinner to have time to decompress when they get home. It may not be a laborious job, which has difficulties a stay at home parent won't understand, but it has its own hurdles and hardships a breadwinner with a draining job won't understand either. Also, patience and communication. Not everything is an affront, not everything is because they don't care. Sometimes they don't understand, sometimes they need you to tell them. And no matter what side you're on, both listen. This is not necessarily towards the woman posting the video, this is for anyone who might need a way to make things more manageable in their current situation.
