VS are a BIG MISTERY... they composed such a masterpieces... but now they completely lost their creative inspiration

@@stefanobranzini1 I agree that their albums post House of Atreus are pretty bad, but their run of 5 albums from 1993 until 2000 makes up for it. Noble Savage and Age of Consent are awesome, although have some Glam songs in there.

There are two issues to consider: first of all a mere matter of taste, there are only ten positions in this ranking, and of course someone has to stay out of it... in addition to the bands you mentioned, many other deserving ones are missing: Serenity, Symphonity, Avalon, Unisonic, Wizard of Oz, Dark Moor and many others. secondly, I would like to point out that my ranking is not for the best power bands, but for the best power metal anthems, so with their airy refrains, symphonic arrangements, and martial pomposity...

might be because they didn't had their instruments and can create some problems. also Tommy stated that he sufferes from a mild version of synesthesia which so many times has used for the recording of music based on the feelings. not hearing yourself in the monitors can impact a lor as well :(

Definitely has nothing to do with age, as Tommy is consistently improving as far as range and fullness of sound is concerned. His last record with Seventh Wonder is the most difficult from a vocal perspective. The struggle here is for sure more related to contingent reasons, touring has its own problems

Ciao Stefania, non sei la prima che mi fa notare questa defezione ,gigantesca per certi aspetti... La verità è che, per quanto ami i blind guardian, non ho trovato tra le loro canzoni simbolo, i canoni degli inni sinfonici che valuto nel video; credo che alla fine sia una mera questione di gusti,a mi rendo conto di aver indisposto molti fan.
