this collab hit so much nostalgia. Me and my older brother used to watch Yu-Gi-Oh together all the time as kids and it was his big obsession, and of course Hello Kitty was (and is) my big obsession. These little plushies brought us back there he actually went hunting to collect them and brought me them too as a surprise 🥺 Just seeing this collab made me so happy. I was so sad that the red eyes black dragon Badtz-Maru didnt come out here tho, I love him and am gonna have to get him secondhand.

Rumor has it, the lack of marketability for a black on black plushie in US for REBD was the issue. The other plushies are all very vibrant! We were cheated nonetheless

Figured it wouldn't, same moulding so I figured they didn't make any adjustments... Kind of sad since they could have used part of the molding from Yusei's duel disk and just make a whole new hub with the battle city style deck and grave slots 🤷 would have been worth the investment to make a better product.

Honestly this is one of the best fuels in the series imo, and it also calls back to the scene of the Signer Dragons facing the Earthbound Immortals, because one of those Dragons ‘looked somewhat like Power Tool Dragon’, but looked exactly like Life Stream Dragon here, so almost Lua was supposed to become a Signer the whole time, but I guess he never really was out into a dire enough situation in a Duel to unlock the power I guess, considering this power came at the cost of his literal life basically. Also y’know the needles in the machine on his chest pierced his heart for sure, I doubt him gaining 100 LP suddenly made the heart injuries go away but eh magic or something I guess, he’s perfectly fine I’m sure

I would be fine with this, if using the duel disk didn’t shred the corners of your cards

Jaden i think is the best character bc he is very entertaining and he is relatable in some way. From season 1-4, we can see the change in enthusiasm for dueling as enemies got harder and harder to defeat. Just like we see teens and adults change to be more serious the longer they go along life

We enjoyed making it. Much was put into this production. Yes it was made in 2005 when digital was coming out more before HD. The story was a character arc for all the friends so Yugi didn't take it all (to focus on the friendship). The friendship symbol they draw on their hands in the anime was for the anime not this production (again an adaptation not a complete copy of the first season). It was an adaptation of the series so there was play with what happens in the story. We also aged the characters to college age so theyre not in High School. Glad over all you enjoyed the production and your reviews. Also, fyi the name of the director is (Stephen) Steven not Steffan ^^. Also, Stephen has directed 300 films in 25 years.
