Well done, thanks.
We just went through there today
Fun! Thanks Bob
It’s something I prepared for showing between my presentations to the Seven Seas Cruising Association next Saturday in Annapolis.
Don't see yellow marker..if icw there would be yellow triangle
Huh I'm in Melbourne at the moment. But those lagoons could be walked across unless storm surge.
Wonderful!!!! Thanks for sharing this.
How do I delete old Bobs tracks?
Wow. Horrible. Navionics is so superior to this it defies description. This is manual route planning. I’m try to figure out why ANYONE would do all this.
Looks like a Cape Dory coming In, I know that entrance, it was harder than it looked. Alligator Swing Bridge is now scheduled for replacement with a two lane Hi-Rise bridge to begin in 2025 I believe . Thanks Bob
Your fiddler is impressive. He had a lot of double stops going--not easy to do well or as fast as he was doing it.
Nice jazz Bob! Couldn't hear some of the players. Maybe look for a better microphone if you are going to keep posting these? Fair winds...
I have a recording studio at home for podcasts but it’s tough carrying around a high quality mic with an iPhone pro 14. You would really need a mixer so each instrument's volume could be adjusted individually. I mainly wanted to show the finger action of the violinist, he’s a real professional.

Outstanding!
Whew!
Great explanation of the route and what to watch for as we head down for our first time next August! Your book is wonderful we read the whole thing to prepare for our trip!
Can these be downloaded to my navionics card for my raymarine?
Hey Bob, this is amazing stuff. I've traveled the ICW a dozen times, wrote a book called, What's Up Ditch. I need to ad this to my chapter about the magenta line. Did you create this route or is it part of the survey data you point out. Either way, it's awesome and super helpful. All the best.
Good info Never thought of using it that way, but can be useful for certain things!
Robert, Thank you sir!
That is totally awesome. Thanks so much for sharing your tracks and how to use them. this is something I can do myself without having to call one of my kids for "Technical Support".
Thanks for ur time and amazing effort in the details - will be the first time for me so gathering every piece of info prior to the trip in the trip - only suggestion is for a person who is not familiar with the ice u move the map very quickly and note this or that spot so fast, I could not keel up with u and spent a lot of time going back and trying to figure out where u were - so either a little slower or stop and say this shoal is here just past this town or near marker x so a novic like me and locate and follow. But all loaded up and containing I read up!! Thanks
thanks, Bob. love your book and these waypoints.

When I try to navigate to www.bob423.blogspot.com I am getting someone else's site (green, color, dated April 26, 2010) and intermittently, security errors from Chrome. I've tried Chrome, Firefox and IE11. Is there a certificate or other security issue? Has someone taken over your domain?
UPDATE: Did a little googling and found the correct site seems to be "bobicw.blogspot.com/"
Thank you so much for this... we're heading south along this section now, and this was super helpful!
Howdy Bob. Very nice for your "first try". I found it very informative but, for me, you seemed to spend a lot of time on a few spots by going over and over the same info. Thanks for posting!
OMG! I found your blog and read the story. You REPLACED THE INJECTION PUMP, and the crook that you had work on the engine refused to install a part that he didn't sell you... AND he had to order it FOUR times... and it had to be shipped from Europe!! I would have been livid! I don't want to rub salt in the wound, but have you ever heard of Beta Marine Diesels? I believe that a Beta 60 would be a direct replacement for your Volvo, and the US distributor is in North Carolina. I am SO grateful for my Universal (Kubota) Diesel, how easy it is to work on, and the easily sourced parts.
What was the fix? Did you tighten the injector line? Replace the copper washer?
