@@corneygray9263 yes motor blew at 14000klm, hear 2016 lot better, fixed lot of the issues from 2015

I don’t have the 2015 anymore, but I do have a 2024. I personally never had any issues with the transmission recall nor did I ever hear of anyone else having issues.

@Stacypawelek100 i ended up getting a 2015 R1 with 6000 klm on it, motor blew at 18000 -yamaha did nothing for me, now i have a 2021 Panigale V2 bought it with 2000klm now it has 25000klm

BigOG TT when I first got the bike I adjusted the sag and clickers to my liking, I have since then had it sent off.

BigOG TT When we are talking about grip there are two types electronic grip which is like traction control, slide control, abs, and then we have mechanical grip which is like making adjustments to the chassis for extra grip or making changes to power, or aerodynamics for extra down force. Electronic grip is more of a forceable grip compared to just plain old school mechanical grip. The electronics are pretty much forcing the bike to grip using wheel speed and quick power adjustments causing the tires to wear out a bit faster than normal.

Ace Estember definitely, you can adjust the ride height a little by raising the forks in the triple clamps and lowering the the rear shock some.

Best Rama USA I'm just using what ik from the specs I don't have personal experience but it's very aggressive ergonomics seat height is 33 inches tall which for standard for this class but you since ur 6foot u should be fine as for heat I've personally never heard about such complaints

not sure if its because i raced a lot of motocross but i always cover the front brake with 1 finger at ALL times on my motorcycle.

R. Boivie Yes this bike will work for you. It is pretty high but nothing too crazy. The feeling of this bike will be pretty foreign when you first sit on it, but you'll get use to it fairly quick.

+kens life The twitchyness went away, the power delivery is much stronger yet smoother throughout the entire rev range, and the quickshifter is also smoother

Every now and then I do. I do think that a more comfortable seat would help but still wouldn't solve the body position issue.

After tax, title, and license in the state of Texas I got mine for 16,000 OTD. At the dealership that I go to they really help me out cause I'm always there. I traded in a 2015 Kawasaki Kx250f, and put a big chunk down so I didn't have to finance anything.

The first 600 break in miles are gonna be so hard not to open up the throttle to feel the power😩✊🏼 your gonna absolutely love it man👍🏼 It's gonna be a bit uncomfortable on the street at slow speeds but other than that it's really an amazing bike

My bike had a Yoshimura Y series on it already when I made the video so I didn't mention it, I have since then upgraded to an SC Project CRT Titanium exhaust. My advice is to definitely upgrade the exhaust👍🏼 preferably SC Project

Other than the graphic change, the 2015 and 2016 are identical. The only thing that Yamaha did for 2016 was produce an S model that does not come with a quickshifter and magnesium wheels just to make it more affordable for cost conscientious buyers👍🏼

Thank you soooo much for this!!! Saves me about 2000$. I'm not a fan of the silver decal sticker on the front, but the dealership said they'd take it off for me.

+408CaliKid The silver decal on the front is meant to mimic a number plate since the 2015 R1 is a track ready bike, but if you don't like it it can easily be replaced with the 2016 style decal👌🏼

+MOTO 361 lool you just Wana change it anyways, its up to you but am gona start with changing the brake pads that should give it more bite, even though on racetrack they worked fine but it doesn't hurt to have more bite on that beast!

+Kelly Sweet yeah pretty much lol just to give it more of that factory look. This bike does need a bit more bite though. I'll change the pads like you said to see if maybe that will help for now.

Well i have a streetbike and i ride it on the street fooling around poping som wheelies and then i take it to the track and ride it pretty hard usualy not to far of the racebikes times... Perhaps i didnt make myself clear enough since english isnt my main launguage.

+p Lazo what I did was I googled it bro ! Ok the problem is when you lock your wheel do turn the key all the way to the right !!!!!!!!! Look at the key hole it has the letter " P" don't turn the key all the way only where it says " LOCK "
