Cable Car to Fansipan Mountain in Vietnam
The cable car ride on the journey from SaPa to the top of Indochina at Fansipan Mountain. The cable car is around 20 min long and generally very smooth. It did sway a little when it was really windy at higher elevations but nothing too drastic. It costs 800,000VND/$32 for the round-trip ticket per person, plus 200,000VND/$8 more for the funicular to get to the cable car station. There's also a 2nd funicular to get you to the peak 150,000VND/$6 one way or you can climb the stairs for free. I paid 1,150,000VND/$46 for the first funicular, the cable car, and one way going up on the 2nd funicular, then walked back down from the peak to see the Buddha and some other sights and views.
