if you factory reset your ally. you missing a driver i suggest you update armoury crate and my asus.. then Set your VRAM to 8gb auto will do but some game stutter get fix once it set on 8gb best example was black ops 6.

the problem with ultra performance the graphics was horrible. but if you want to play on 120 fps ultra performance was best option but i think you will not enjoy the game with those graphics.. i played almost 400 games on rog ally i rarely use ultra performance my minimum was performance only. i only use ultra when the game is really heavy resource.. if you are competitive i think FSR 2 Balanced or Performance suits you well..

welcome. yah in town game struggle but i think its still playable. most of the game you are on outside crafting and building. game is fun

the reason of the test is how your battery life will stay if you using all the function when you outside. Like Bluetooth for headset or other device you attach to it. wifi on if you are on hotspot or wifi. so this video is kinda emulate how this device performed if you on the go.

No just the setting i use on the first minute of the game.. i nvr use afmf now because they just making a false fps.. fps high but delay as hell. And have input lag. Maybe the most of the video you see on the 1st part of the game the fps there were so low because of alot of sprites coming from the forest.. but in later part of the game i could say they are really playable.. oh last maybe they on auto on vram i usually set mine on manual at 8gb maybe thats why im having a higher fps that them

I want to know is the game running smooth and playable overall ? Forget fps , the game is smooth ? Im asking this because i cant tell on videos , but you played it in your hands and you have experience

if you are a gamer like you played alot of ps2 ps3 ps4 old back in the day. this game is really playable if you ignore the fps. i could say i can finish the game on this device. yah on some parts when so many things happen the game will stutter or lags but not at the point that you cant play it.

@ yes pretty much way higher graphics on latest iphones due to that 1080p device plus a bigger screen turns into a cool 4k120fps PSP

i could say if you put it on all low setting yes 1080p will perform well. i will upload a new test of this on native.. its old video and im using afmf that time.

oh thats my old video and i need to update it. on that time im recording using AFMF and its make my fps double. so if you playing a non fps or turn based game its better to have afmf for more smoother gameplay.. but in reality its only 40-45 fps. so its same as you. baldurs gate is really resource hungry. but if you could wait i can make an updated setting with stable fps.

well final fantasy rebirth on pc was releasing next month. its a sequel to this. that Game i can say was great but you need to play this version so you could understand the ff rebirth. i think you would like it if you like the JRPG genre

@@Chris.P.Bacon7 oh no i do nothing just ingame setting.. if the resolution cant change just try to full screen/ or full screen windows the game so you can change it.. sometimes if you are on borderless the resolution cant change. its really depend on the game

check the time code. i usually test it on 25w and 17w with battery life. but yah i never tried on 7w but i think it still can run on 7w and will last about 5-6hrs game time

what cant understand? are you just clicking the top power button? because if you just one click that the rog ally will just go to sleep mode. if you want to turn off your ally easily just click the command center button then click the power icon and shut down.

im running on 1080p. and i run on native i think you using amd overlay because you using afmf? if you using afmf you should only use amd overlay because if you use the rog ally x monitor it will glitch out. but yah at 900p you could have steady 60 fps i guess. this is a preview of how the game runs on 1080p. yah game is great and even up to this date the game still can compete. most of the newer game doesnt have this kind of story and action

i have both but all i could say if i want performance i go for my ally x. if i just want to play cozy and simple games i go for my steam deck.

if performance you are asking yes. but if you want sharp picture and much larger screen oled is much better

i really suggest you stay to your steam deck for a while.. and wait till june or july next year everyear they release a new variant or maybe the gen2 rog. i suggest you just wait a little bit longer so you can have the best out of your money.

oh they same actually mine was running on AFMF which make the fps Double so we could say its just a fake fps. so in reality they are only 30-35 fps. thats one of my old videos that the game running on AFMF but now i never use it so people dont get confuse. why the fps is so high

actually the forbidden west is much lower because its running on AFMF the forbidden west was an old record of mine so i use afmf back then now i never use it because of the input lag. so basically forbidden west is running at 30-35 FPS. and horizon zero dawn was running without it so its a true fps for me

no need 25w maybe for stable. im on act 3 now and i been playing 5hrs a day and im having no troubles.. just make it 25w and lower resolution to 900p
