One of the most famous Christmas carols by far is "Silent Night, Holy Night". It was first performed on December 24, 1818 with the melody by Franz Xaver Gruber and the lyrics by Joseph Mohr. In the meantime, the song exists in over 320 languages and dialects. The special thing about this song is that it was acknowledged by UNESCO on application as intangible cultural heritage in Austria.
In my arrangement I play verse by verse with the cello and use my loop station Boss RC505.
