I won't lie, this Tempranillo blew my hair (what little of it there is) back. Yes, it's a 2016 but time has only enhanced the wonderful flavors of ripe dark fruit flavors of black cherry, blackbery, and plum. Because you decanted the wine, is that why you don't use "proper" wine glasses?
We use those glasses as that's what we have in the stores, they are used for our large customer tasting events. You wouldn't believe the number of glasses we go through in a year. We decant add some air to the wine. Aeration expands all the dormant aromas and flavors in your wine by releasing accumulated gases and softening the tannins. But keep in mind, too much oxygen can ruin a good wine. You must always limit the leftover's exposure to the air and keep it cool.

Enjoyed the review, be cool if you could compare and contrast with another rose or two, given the range of roses that pop into view this time of year. Prefer higher acidity myself, esp as you note with food. Left me a bit unclear on the fruit, seemed one of you tasted quite a bit more than the other..so it goes with palates of course...
