I collect these guns. That's why they sold it so cheap. Problem is, in that poor of condition, it should have sold for no more than 20 bucks!
I agree ! For a cheap price i would have understood i was buying a fixer upper. But hiding the damaged side wasnt cool .
So ok according to our 3d printing viewers. The cat was a 3d printing made of resin. But you have to drill vent holes so the larger casting breathes . Without holes the resin in the middle doesnt cure and it rots from the inside out creating a gas that burst the model from the inside leaking the resin fluid out.
I had to assemble a 3D statue for a friend once that he had commissioned from a digital artist, and it did the same thing. The outer shell had cured properly, but the thing had been printed in parts that had no vents, so the liquid was trapped inside. In transit some of the pieces had cracked and the resin goop had poured out. I soaked the whole thing in isopropyl alcohol for a few days and managed to get it off of the statue, but it was a slog. People who sculpt only digitally are sometimes unaware of the things that happen when casting physically... old school casters know the pitfalls of resin's touchy nature, and it's a good idea for digital sculptors to study videos that hand casters make. Sorry about your Dupli-cat... that sucks, man.

Well you know how that goes . PP might do something or might not , all they see is item was delivered . But since i am a customer they might actually see it my way . If i was a seller i wouldnt have any rights at all . But in this case the seller is at fault. And maybe not intentionally . We will see . Has anyone else had problems with buying resin items that didn’t cast good? And was it a pain to get a refund or the problem resolved ?
