After 2 years, I thought I should be the first to comment. This looks delicious.
Thank you
Thanks great honest review 😊
Hi, I just got this idea of getting an air fryer about 3 weeks ago for the main purpose a being able to eat a better variety of foods. I'll be 80 years old in March and work full time the largest auto parts store in the country, ( We're not allowed to mention our name on social media. ) my thought was that would be easier and quicker to make things like pork chops and steak which I seldom eat anymore. I called the lady that runs the local Thrift Shop and asked if she would keep an eye out for an air fryer. I said just grab it put it aside and consider it sold, and then call me. Yesterday I got a call from her and she said it's an Emeril Lagasse 7 quart in the box and it looks like it's new. Well it is new and it's sitting in the Box in my house. She wanted $50 and I gave her $60 because all the proceeds go to buy Bibles and then they're sent to South America. It's a brand new one just like you've got. I said all that to say this, couldn't you / we bake them in the air fryer and then sear them ? It has a broil function doesn't it, which would allow for the searing that we want. Otherwise we can pan sear it once we have achieve the doneness we want, say medium rare. Over the past three or four weeks I've watched many videos on doing a steak. The method that I just described I believe it's called a reverse Sear method. www.jessicagavin.com/how-to-reverse-s ear www.seriouseats.com/reverse-seared-steak-recipe This is getting long-winded so I'll end up now. Good luck to you and your wife and I hope this helps you and others that see this as well as myself. Bon appetit
Thank you cause I’m 🤦🏽♀️😳🥴🥴🥴😵💫😵💫😵💫🤣🤣🤣 radiation got me a bit loopy and appetite is picking up … gotta eat better and I’m grateful for the simplicity of this … I live for the cussin’ … Amen 🤣🤣🤣🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you. I didn't know about khal.com
Hi
I love egg salad. This is a good one. Thank you!
Chicken noodle casserole sounds delicious. I must try it. Thank you for this recipe.
My nana made haluski exactly the same way
Seems you made spaetzle as your dumplings (dumplins) . All of a sudden, in the last few days there have been at least ten (10) versions of Haluska or Haluski here on RUclips! Amazing and know what? Each recipe is different! Some use store bought noodles, one woman makes her own and one man even added bacon to his. You all maintain that yours is the best! Just like how we serve potatoes, halushki varies from state to state like the ancestors of the recipe makers who come from many countries and regions in Europe. Thanks for sharing!
Great video!
Made this recipe, was excellent!!!
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Thank you! Going to make this today. We usually use store bought egg noodles but I wanted to learn the right way.
You're welcome. My Nana use to do that in a pinch but homemade is the best. Good luck.
Great video. it looks delicious. RIP your mom Linda. stay gold. i love your videos
Thank you. I appreciate your condolences.
i tried this and i love it. i did not do my own noodles though. ill use your recipe when im going to make my own.
Also, do you think I can use land o lakes butter don't have blue bonnet.
Do you think I could use cooked cabbage? I made stuffed cabbage the other day and have some cooked cabbage left over.
yummy
they look pretty tasty. ill try em
ive never heard of haluski. im going to try it in a few days. great video. keep it up.
i love your videos. very informative.
Thank you
looks good. ill try this.
My dad used to make this and I in turn got to make it for him 1 time before he passed away. I've always loved this stuff. Looks like you make it the same way we used to. Good job
Thanks it's a lot of work.
Except white rice at 2 mg sodium would be considered low, sodium, Jasmine rice at 190 mg sodium is not low sodium
You need to check your facts. Jasmine rice is 5mg per 1/2 cup. White rice is 577mg per 1 cup. Jasmine rice www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/generic/rice-jasmine-dry White sodium www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/generic/rice-white-cooked-regular Feel free to use what you want. And if you know so much you should have content up.
that's because country crock isn't butter, it's butter-flavored oil! always use real butter made from cream, for everything, not just haluski :)
I agree :)
Yes... More Polish recipes please!! Thanks for the homemade dumplings!!
Ok.... I usually use a collander over a pot of boiling water to make the dumplings, and I sauté them in butter, but you didn't show how yours were done?
@5:02 I show how I make my dumplings. I just put the dough in the boiling water & as soon as they float they're done. I then put them right into the cabbage mixture.
What accent is this??
Please post other polish receipes ,my grandmother was never able to show me
I surely will :) When I get some time. I have many recipes from my grandmother & I'd be happy to share them with you.
Love this! Can’t wait to try, what temp do u cool the cabbage on
I cook my cabbage on 2 or 3 on my electric stove. I then leave it simmer for maybe an hour or so & then I take it off the stove & put it in a plastic container & just let it cool to room temp. I then put it in the fridge.
U sound like your from Scranton?
Sorry I haven't been on. You're close. Good ear haha
