thank you bro you just saved me a few hundred bucks, i was about to give up trying! that secondary error code (yellow with flashing both power and error) was the only one not in the fckn manual and i was lilke whaa???!!! didn't bother wiping it up, just blew some air from my mouth into that hole and voila - this 10 yo printer is back to life!

Thanks so much.....all my paperwork said when that flashes there is an "error", but didn't give a clue how to fix the error. Took a minute to open, use the q-tip, close and voila...it works again!

Very useful, it works for me to! 10x. Maybe I have to clarify, in my case error light was started to blink together with "no paper" light after printing 1 page.
