Hi, welcome to my channel. My content will be varied and will include how I live my life with many chronic life changing illnesses. It will be a mixture of VLOGS, makeup tips&life hacks for the good days&the bad days. It will be showing my life’s ups and downs, meditations, rants, positivity&sometimes my negativity (keeping it real). I think my aim for this channel is to show the real side of living with chronic illnesses and the impact on daily living. I want to help others of all sexes and show people who also suffer with pain and conditions that they aren’t alone. I will try to be brave and talk about & show sides of illnesses that many try to hide from others which can lead to feeling isolated and alone. I want to show those not living with illnesses the rollercoaster ride that is life for us dealing with conditions. The channel won’t just be negative, I want it to be fun, informative, interesting and most importantly REAL.

Thanx for trying to make us feel good. I always watch glow up videos...but its all just so difficult...i cant do any of that...or maybe i just miss my previous version of myself.
@@adeleaderu2914 I miss the previous version of myself too but I had enough of letting my conditions strip me away of myself. I have to keep adapting how I apply makeup or do my hair as my conditions flare or worsen. I need to try and do an updated video. Please try to put some makeup on to make yourself feel like you again. Even if you just do one thing 🫶🏻

I LOVE this! Awesome tips! I also noticed you had your eyebrows already done. Do you get them microbladed? I want to do this because I feel like eyebrows are the hardest part for me with EDS (mostly because I have tremors though).
Her Eternal Summer thank you so much. Yes i had my eyebrows microbladed which were amazing but they were extremely painful to get done for me as I have bad nerve pain and there are many nerves behind the eyebrows which I didn’t know and the therapist told me it could irritate the nerves and it did. and I am suffering side effects which were given to me as a warning and I took the risk. I have eczema and it is triple worse on my eyebrows now since the microblading and because I have oily skin the pigment fades really quickly. I guess it’s different for everyone. I reeeaaalllllyyyyy want it done again but I don’t know if the pain and eczema flares are worth it. I now draw brow strokes on which look ok but obviously wear off by the end of the day. x
I think you definitely should make more videos on dating as a spoonie. I feel lucky in that sense that I wasn't that sick before I met my fiance (10 years ago) but I was still sick and I constantly hid it from my partners and on dates. I dated numerous people who would always make me feel bad that I couldn't eat this or do that and treated me like I was a drag. Those are NOT the right people for us and it's better to wait. I always hate to hear the struggle people go through to find connection because of their illness. My mom is the same age, we seem to have a lot in common. She is sick too. I'm always worried about her with this COVID stuff. My dad is sick too and I worry about him. Random side note, I LOVE your makeup! <3

I have the same stuff that you have going on as well. I found your video on a fb group :) I would love to see more of your videos. I just started a youtube a couple months ago and it's so awesome to see so many other zebras on here. I believe I have arthritis too from weight training. They haven't diagnosed me yet but I can tell that's what's going on (I'm 35 so your age). It just started a couple years ago (the arthritis symptoms). And it's soooo true about listening to your body and how we're told to do XYZ for our EDS but it just hurts more than helps. You really have to find what works for you like you said. I love that you talk about the beauty in life <3 It's everywhere isn't there? Can't wait to see more from you! xoxox

People who judge those on medication are really monsters. Keep taking your morphine and remember that people that judge you have no idea what they're talking about. Spiritual people who believe in natural medicine, in my experience, are not often intelligent or informed.

I legit cried seeing this. I have been searching for something for ideas how to do makeup. I have hEDS and started getting very ill just as I was starting to learn makeup around 14 years ago. I'm 38 now and struggle. And hearing you call it your mask hit home cause I tell folks out in public I have to wear a mask all the time. Thank you for doing this and I'm excited to try the tips!! (BTW... Love mermaids and sirens too so yay!!)

@Sunshyne McDaris, I love mermaids too and I'm 35 (I thought I was too old haha) I even made a film about a siren! I struggle with my makeup as well (I have heds too) and as I get older it's sure getting harder but I love beauty/makeup so much.

Kathy Attwood I hate that! My ankles do the same. I wear sports ankle supports or bandages to support them as even with ankle boots they roll 🤦🏻♀️ I’m going to do a video showing all the support aids I use and wear.

I'm pagan and very into natural remedies _ but sometimes it's not enough so like you I have a ton of medication to have a quality of life (although that's stretching it at times 😅) I here all the time maybe you'd get better if ..... Have you tried ..... If you loose some weight ..... 😒😞 . I would never judge people for doing what they had to do to relieve their pain . I wish I could afford to do some alternative therapies regularly to help my health but that's not an option . I hope you feel better soon! As you probably know already, I’m extremely spiritual. I started out as Wiccan and now I just class myself as spiritual (I hate labels) so That’s also why I’ve tried every natural remedy out there but as you said sometimes it just isn’t enough. But for many many people it does work, sadly for me it doesn’t. Trust me I wish with all of my heart that it did, I hate putting western medicine into my body. I know saying “quality of life” is stretching it but honestly if I didn’t take my meds I would have zero quality of life. I’m so thankful that you don’t judge me or others.
