The words 'Give Me Jesus' were a great comfort when my son Tom passed in 2019 and that prompted me to add an extra verse of my own. The scripture from Psalm 34:18 'The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit' and 2 Samuel 23:12 'I shall go to him, but he will not return to me' I hope will provide comfort to anyone going through hardships in life.
