it's a really fun stage overall, but I can't get past Black Pegasus Meteor Shot in RTA play (even with autobomb) so yeah...
They released all the characters expect for green suika. Hopefully she gets released soon!
Oh this looks super chaotic but despite the Kaizo in the name, this looks fun and generally balanced! I really like how they expanded on some of the patterns and even made follow me, unafraid into a stage section

Huh? The original is challenging.
I dunno, for me Touhou 17 is in a weird state where it feels fairly easy, but then any time I play it I end up either making a bunch of stupid mistakes or get clipped by something I didn't see coming.
I think ZUN made the main campaign so easy to compensate for the fact that you have to run around the field to collect tokens. He likely didn't want to recreate what made UFO so infamous.
ayo that's heat also didn't notice it was TAS until "Follow Me, Fearless"
Hey I wanted to know how you were able to TAS this game? Did you only slow it down or did you get savestates working?
No splash sprites for Rinnosuke? Miserable. (But at least the others are cool)

Kablam with so many things happened so far in global version: C1 universe is blue reimu’s gang temporary base as well for the touhou girls from other worlds. Blue reimu’s gang also have a world-traveling ship called probability space hypervessel (yumemi’s ship) , but now her comrades even tiny yukari scattered everywhere and the ship is broken. Yellow sanae is the only her partner. C1 hecatia knows how to travel world with any means (said by junko) . Sages of Gensokyo from L1 world have came to rescue us , and team up with blue reimu to solve her problem. At eientei (in L1 world) , eirin sent sumireko to other world and accidentally met tiny yukari, then they got rescued byas hifuu reisen, tewi the strategist and commander mokou. Meanwhile at the bottom of the ocean in C1 world, a huge meeting held by hecatia which gather touhou girls from other worlds , including hifuu sdm. (just finished part one of chapter 4 btw)
I think this is the gathering of people from different universes. So i guess in c1 world we gonna meet a lot of them, since we got taken away by black sanae. I cant wait to beat this black sanae up, aka the "good girl"
Wow some of these units have some drip like Mokou.. Really sad that they all might be sfes/ufes, rfes and efes :(

All these neat designs (and Sanae's ugly palette swap; sorry, girl, but it's true) we get pea green Suika...
from the backgrounds i think they take place at a beach and somewhere in the Dream world, the moon, or the sea of tranquility(?)

How do people rip the sprites/datamine from this game? I've been asking around but nobody seems to know how. I'd like to get the files to rip the full sprite art.

@@ddauni First, you have to download the JP version of the game on your PC. Then you will need a program that can look through these files.

How were you able to get the full portraits of the new characters?
That's datamined stuff sadly, which isn't allowed on the main touhou lostword server even if you post them in the lostword jp channel

Where's satori, ringo, wriggle, mystia, yuuka and that overdressed marisa? i think i've seen the yuuka one before but not full picture...
For Yuuka, she's basically in the L80 universe, aka the universe where Sporadically Margaret Alice is from. Unless I'm wrong, she might not show up in chapter 4

Lmao, they all look too unique to be considered skins. JP players speculate that we'll expect 3 EFES (Reimu, Marisa, Hecatia) and 11-ish UFES, or they're all EFES Plus skins are limited to events and not main story (exception would be Ringo and Seiran, and even that because they weren't confident about releasing onslaught UFES yet)

@@HAYESDESTROYER13368 Pfft, I know I'm very pessimistic about it - but it ain't gonna happen It is F2P friendly sure (though I'm not sure if 130 pulls for epics are JP thing or global thing) but they'll never gonna be like CRK unless they're gonna be on a flatline (CQ was very F2P unfriendly and when I returned to it I saw some goods, especially for newcomers). Plus, while Lost Word did say they're gonna add older FES friends into general friend pool, by current standards they're outdated with the fact that they'll release them with hesitance and it's exclusive to L1 universe - while CRK just has pick-up banners for characters that'll eventually be added into standard/pick-up pools, there's only guest characters that are limited.

Given that Yukari is EFES, I can't imagine the onslaught of so-called "epics", even JP players were despairing And I thought when I saw Bluemu "Oh wow, I wonder how much the game would fall by spamming epics!" - guess I fucking jinxed it guys
I just wish they'd spam pc-98 characters for more default and fes units instead 😭
@@Goobis365 And I personally wish that it would collab with Len'en since the existence of Len'en is perfect for "loss word" incident and it would be a great demonstration of what would've actually happened during that incident (and Len'en would actually get away with AU bs since it has at least two characters that can validate their existence)
@@misery_shun I would LOVE to see Len'en characters in Lost Word. Combinations like Sukune and Keiki or Suzumi and Sakuya would be very interesting
@@potato3836 Gee, Len'en universe better use "U" letter since it would be so perfect. Seriously would've loved to see characters trying to guess which is based on which - because some have several inspirations (though I hope it won't be too fanservisce-y or at least be fanservice-y in Len'en way, such as Clause being a Santa and Tenkai being a Melon incarnate - I think that kind of fanservice is god tier)
