Haha chidori is a kakashis thousand birds ("failed rasengan”) and raikiri is his evolution of the chidori called lightning blade or cutter, because it was used to cut lightning.. Also, Yamato is directly related to the first hokage by dna, but he is not his biological descendant. So because of how the question is worded James right again.

The justu is called Chidori. When Kakashi first invented it, before he ever taught it to Sasuke, it was called Chidori (1,000 birds because of the sound it makes) he didn’t start calling it the Raikiri or “Lightning Blade” until much later, after he used it to sever a bolt of lightning. The guy asking the questions is wrong. They are the exact same jutsu, Chidori. Kakashi just gave it a nickname later but even when he taught it to Sasuke, he called it Chidori and he invented the technique himself so if he calls it Chidori when he invented it and when he taught it to his student, then that’s the name of the Jutsu. The fact that you explicitly specified “1,000 birds” means the answer is Chidori. If you had said in English it means Lightning Blade then the answer would be Raikiri like you said. James is right.
