Ai Emo Expiriment: The Song of the Wandering Aengus
The theory goes like this:: since poetry is a kind of music, it should be easy to map most any poem onto a song. Turns out emo style songs are perfect for all the different variation you might have in poetry! Here's WB Yeats' "The Song of the Wandering Aengus" as a proof of concept.

Omega Mart Review, Thoughts March 2024
Просмотров 3110 месяцев назад
in this one I review or think about Omega Mart having been there many times before. I went on the lower day that is the birthday of the founder and thought that I might learn something new. I did find a couple of new rooms and a couple of new changes, so I give my thoughts on those here. #omegamart #meowwolf #artexhibition #experientialart #artreview #opinions

I took lines from "Wharf Rat" and "Dark Star" and ran through them AI programs, then slid them together to make this.

I took one line or so from each Grateful Dead song and fed it into an AI text to video maker. Here's the results of my playing with this toy. This version silent so you can use it as you wish.

I took a few lines from each Grateful Dead song I remembered, fed 'em into an Ai video maker. It's a toy, at least for now. But I thought I'd share the output for you to perhaps enjoy. A silent version will be uploaded as well. See if you can spot your favorite songs in these clips.

Quantum West - Star Trek Ishmael Review - Chapters 1-5
After watching this video, I see some surprising parallels between Andrea and Rebecca
this is such an amazing breakdown
bummer about the visuals.
I'd rather watch sound generated fractals - this AI stuff is distracting. But the music is glorious. Thanks, WhatRoughBeast! (Great name by the way...)
Tunes are great! However, I'd say that 1 in 80 images are vaguely relevant.
Good essay bro. Keep it foolish.
The visuals help a ton to keep my eyes shut for 20 minutes straight. The sounds are as great as ever
I just attended a seminar by the real life Elminster, Ed Greenwood, and this topic came up. Simply put, you’re exactly right and the Elminster that Simon saw in the movie was his own interpretation of Elminster that lives solely in Simon’s head.
wwjd.....and i dont mean jesus......
Jerry would never play this beautiful jam again, cause you know...
I love this book! No longer human is really great too.
I had a harder time with that, but I read the comic variation.
are we AI?
Well we're definitely not artificial. The "I" part seems to vary however.
If there was one track that I could sum up the dead, it would be Beautiful Jam. Perfect
well just goes to show A1 has a LONG way to go before it can cope with visually interpreting the Dead. Some of its choices are just crap on toast.
That just means you have to create your own AI, doesn't it? AI reacts to Your input, I believe, not someone else's. Just as I'm reacting to your whining, I would react to positive input differently.
Taste is like that. I thought it was pretty cool. The music is strong enough to carry it.
Absolutely correct.. JamBands channel has it goin on. This far to random and off the mark.
The tunes are great!! However, I'd say about 1 in 80 images are vaguely relevant. Whatever the search terms were, dictated the images. Therefore, WTF😆. Dead people in California? Shiney ceremonial ethnic strobe image decay? 😂 Ugh.
Keep it Mencap you fuckin ear
Year,month, day???
Sounds like TC on keys too. That may help narrow down your search
2/18/71 show at the Capitol Theater.

Para nada una versión oscura, simplemente una maravillosa psicodelia muerta 😊
Excelente versión extraída de los míticos Capitol de comienzo del '71 uno de mis años favorito y con Pigpen en teclados nuevamente ❤
Bobby Sherman!
hmm audio is only one sided on the right side, but cool video
Oh boy, there were problems with this one. Consider it an interesting failure. I'll try this again a slightly different way tomorrow.
0:40 me......being catapulted into outerspace when i heard my first Birtha, live
Grateful for your video about the Dead .very well said 💀🌹❤️⚡️💙
lame
😘
You're almost home David.. see? you're here already. Beautiful Jam is Perfection and an absolute devine Wharf Rat.
If you mean the ai images I agree
The view from behind a half-hit of good quality blotter back in the day.......just enough to make objects come to life and get that little smile on your face.....
Which AI programs do this?
It was a combo of Midjourney, Pika, and Moonvalley
Why am I recommended such obscure tracks?
Because you like good things?
You happened upon an especially nice one.
Dark Star and Wharf Rat are obscure?
@@lowcountrydawg2525My thought as well. It's only the best of the Dead at what's arguably the height of their early creativity. So nothing special really.
@@ctwofirst6635 There is a video on YT where some guy plays this jam for Phil. It literally brought tears to Phil's eyes. If I'm not mistaken this particular jam was a one off and I think it might be 7 minutes of the best Dead ever.
I remember watching this once in the early 90s. Strangely enough, it was the local PBS station, KIXE channel 9 out of Redding, CA that played it.
Bravo. May we have some more, please. Thank you. My children didn't say a word during the video and went directly to nap. Thanks. Excellent. Keep up the good work. .. . .
How Cary Grant must have tripped.
Thx man, i needed this right now.. lots to digest. Jerry makes me miss everything. In a good way.
Read that book years ago.
That was one of my favorite Star Trek novels.
Not Zsazsa - her lookalike sister Eva. Yes, great TV theme, catchy while succinctly delivering the show's premise. Right up there with everyone's favorite 'Gilligan's Island' and 'The Beverly Hillbillies'. Before you know it, you're singing alomg whether you wanted to or not.
Oops I knew the correct name too! Thanks for the correction.
I like your interpretation. Suggest you put the prompted closet to the camera. More practice will clean up your delivery. Keep it up.
This is probably the most academic, review of a Muppet project I have seen
Nora ❤ animal 😊
Good analysis. I picked up on “the Who” joke and Nora was like Kermit. It is nice to find another Mayhead
Maybe some day I’ll have to watch duck soup and the great muppet caper in a double feature one night . Have favorite Marx brothers movie and favorite muppet movie ?
My double feature would be Muppet Treasure Island for the reasons listed in this video, and I gotta go with Animal Crackers, it's the one that best captures the formula. A Night at the Opera would be a close second.
@@What_Rough_Beast both good choices. My bro said he go with a muppet Christmas carol and a night in Casablanca .
The Birthday Massacre and Stabbing Westward were my favorite performers that day.
It was a great performance!
When it's all said and done.... "If it's not a spaghetti, it ain't a western". Thanks!
In the interest of brevity; (punk = against making money) = a misconception
The punk museum is over priced! I was a Punk in 1978. In NYC. I have better things clothing, pins, records, books, and concert tickets to punk, new wave and ska concerts I went to. I have original concert t shits. My collection is better than placed. They are cashing from chaos!
I don't think this review was British enough. Your viewers demand Monty-Python accents.
You put Donovan on here, but do you even KNOW who DONOVAN is?
I'm only slightly hard of hearing. Couldn't understand until several minutes in. Then struggled a bit as sound out of sync with lips but you were mostly speaking slower which was easier
Didn't Scrabble already kinda do this? You should compare notes. Your viewers demand it!
I won't give in to such nonsense by the alphabeta Mafimob until about 2 weeks from now when I need content. I wonder if I got outraged correctly.
@@What_Rough_Beast SCABBLE RABBLE!
Good recs! I just added both of them to my "to read" shelf. Thanks!
In my over 45 years following punk I've never come across a punk band that was against money. And I think it is perfectly OK for the museum to make money off of punk. "Money is a loaded subject for the simple reason that we have not been able to work out a sane system in which money can be a servant to the whole humanity, and not the master of a few greedy people. Money is a loaded subject because man’s psychology is full of greed; otherwise money is a simple means of exchanging things, a perfect means. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN IT, BUT THE WAY WE HAVE WORKED IT OUT, EVERYTHING SEEMS To BE WRONG IN IT. If you don’t have money, you are condemned; your whole life is a curse, and your whole life you are trying to have money by any means. If you have money it does not change the basic thing: you want more, and there is no end to wanting more. And when finally you have too much money - although it is not enough, it is never enough, but it is more than anybody else has - then you start feeling guilty," because the means that you have used to accumulate the money are ugly, inhuman, violent." Not having visited the museum I can't comment further on it but your post is well thought out and presented. Perhaps if right before anyone enters the exhibits a guard would give a surprise small rip to their shirt or pants, it would put everyone in a true punk spirit and be a good interactive display to start the ball rolling.
I don't mind if they make money. I'm thinking my conflict is with the guided tour aspect. I am all about punk spirit. I would definitely sit at the bar. I would love to have Fat Mike introduce me to his Dominatrix friends, but because I don't have the same amount of money he does, they wouldn't be interested.
BLA,BLA,Barf!
