Can't believe you managed to legit beat him as pure mage without mimic, insane skill. It's the only boss in soulslike series where I just gave up and summoned mimic, this fight is bullshit and shouldn't be so punishing for mages.

That ending of just a ton of dodging with no attack windows 'cause she was super aggro is what the majority of phase 2 feels like to me

Her aggressive ass ai in her second phase makes her such a pain in the ass when using a sorcery build.

What level are you in this fight?

You helped me a lot on NG+, I've never used an Int build before now. I went double regal scepter, double staf of loss with a Dark Moon GS, then finally I had Golden Vow on a dryleaf arts. First half was ranni moons and night comets, but ironically enough all I did in phase 2 was two hand the DMGS and bonk her to death. I guess no matter how smart my character gets they will always resort to unga bunga in the end. Thank you so much!

Wow! It's such a smooth fight! 💥 Everyone is hyping over Malenia, but those dudes are just so much more difficult than her 😅. Playing as a mage, I found it extremely hard to have any mana left for Elden Beast... I just needed those extra life flasks, but I also needed mana! 😂😂😂

I keep rolling back into her flower bomb attack in phase two and get one shot lmao. had the same idea with comet azur though.. Killed her once after she killed me but the game didnt count it.

Thanks men very good spell decision i was using the night comet but i think comet shard is better cause he doesnt dodge them and loretta bow for the second phase is the most logical choice !

Honestly, I hate Maliketh way more than Malenia. I just summon Tiche and beat the shit of that Malenia ,but Maliketh give me nightmares:/

wow... she really is too vulnerable to range attaks in the second phase!!.. while first phase she is as slow as melases between combos... interesting vulnerabilities... tho any wrong move and is all over with those multyhit attacks.. never an easy fight

Finaly I ve made it ,with Loretta s ,been trying all the spells and always died when beast was at 10% 😂 last night I gave up ,uninstalled the game ,and in the morning while up with a greenie was watching this vid which popped up from other guides I was watching ,Loretta rocks and u 🤪

I don't know why people say magic is easy mode. This looked difficult like any other style in the game. In some cases harder since katana bros would melt that poor woman long time ago!
