Always lol. Im making a halter top, a blanket and a perry the platapus plush, oh and my work project for when im on lunch or break is a lace doily that only has like 3 rounds left be for i weave in the ends and block it.

What kind of yarn do you use for the doily? I’ve been wanting to make a doily that covers a table but all the patterns I find end up being so small because I use crochet thread.

@@CrochetartbySavannah I've used both thread and worsted weight yarns. U could also use bulky yarns but the doilies could get quite large. Just make sure to size ur hook up for whatever yarn you use. If the doily is going on a wall or won't need much washing synthetic yarns work fine and often come in a wider range of colors if ur using it on a table id suggest sticking to cottons as they are more washable. To wash either you can toss the doily in a lingerie bag and wash it in the washer on gentle/delicate and then hang to dry.

@@ttijanaI really like the look of crochet thread for the doily I can just never find a pattern that uses small yarn to make a big doily

@@CrochetartbySavannah i completely get that. Try looking lace blankets or large lace doilies. Adding lace to your search will give u patterns using the thread instead of worsted weight yarns. The biggest pattern I've used for a doily is a 15in diameter sorry I'm in the us and don't know off hand what that is in cm.

All good, I’m in the US as well. I’ll try adding that to my search to see if I can find what I’m looking for, thank you!

Mama, look up neck magnifying glass... the desk ones still make you hunch like a gremlin. The neck ones are attached to a chain and the feet set on your ta-tas so you can sit up straighter.
