distance when hug teching depends on a lot of factors mainly fps, the lower ur fps is the further you will go the higher ur fps is the less distance you get. I also recommend using walkie if ur going for second bound hugs which is what i mainly go for.

@@orange_pulpp_ yeah but i saw ur hug tech at shack with the uni medalion it’s impossible to do for me, i play on 90 fps when i do it it only slides like 4 meters

@@01SMH 1. you might be bumping 2. fps again i play on 60 so i go a bit further 3.using uni medallion with egg where egg has a unintended feature of giving you a slight dash at the end of the first bound

@@Shiiirayukiiii a lot of my older videos are when i had around 200 hours in dbd (around 100 on wesker) i didn’t start being consistent till around almost 400 hours it’s mainly based on fps and just how good you are with timing people can learn really fast or take longer than others

@@Shiiirayukiiii i’m currently on 60 fps! recommended from most wesker players is 72-90 because the higher the frames the more easier it is to hug but you lose distance since your velocity is tied to your frames 90 is almost the same as 60 you just lose a small bit of distance but not much that is too noticeable

@@Shiiirayukiiii yes it’s alright it’s just when you lower your frame rate it will be a shorter time window to perform the hug tech but if you get it consistent enough on higher frames i think you could get pretty consistent too when lowering it just takes some time to get use to the new timing

yes, it’s called a insta hug tech you hug on ur second dash with the momentum from the first one during the first frames of ur second dash and it will allow you to hug it

@@orange_pulpp_ Ahh, I didn't see the second dash! I guess that's why it's called "insta". I tried doing this with basekit on some sharp corners on Ormond rocks but with only the first dash, and the the first dash would slide along the entire rock if I got the angle right and hard turned the cam in the opposite direction of the side I was trying to slide on. Could only do it on a few of the rocks though. I play on 60 FPS and I've been trying to learn Wesker for about 2 weeks. Sometimes I'll hug tech an object multiple times in a row and think it's an easy spot, and then I can't hug tech it again for another 30 tries lmao.
