Doing 2-3 and 4 Digit Addition Mentally
Bro just write 4x3/2
How did you get 5x = 165
I skipped the step where you move the variables on one side and coefficients on the other and add or subtract them. So it would be 2x + 3x = 180 - 20 + 5. Simplify it and you get 5x = 165º.
Or realise 24% is almost a quarter. Multiply 84 x 4 and the closest number below the answer is 350.
Yep, thanks!
84÷24=3.5 which gives 1% 3.5x100 =350 which gives 100%
Thanks!
But with this question just do: 50% of 24 = 12 25% of 24 = 6 25% + 50% = 75% So 6 + 12 = 18 This is only fast for this simple one so the method the video shows is still better but this is faster for mental maths. 😄
Yep, and thanks for giving a mental math method for this type of problem!
That’s ‘C’. Obviously. 5 X 20 = 100 so 5 X 17 = 85. So 85% of 20 = 17 👍😂
Yep, this is a very easy question, lol!
Thanks
No problem!
Çan u please explain that when we add up angles and = 180° or 360° @@mathematicsaa515
@@mhtechgamer8538 When we focus on triangles. If you add all 3 angles, it will equal 180º. Then there is supplementary angles where if you have a straight line and 2 angles form, those 2 angles = 180º. For parallel lines with transversal lines like this example here, if you notice that you can make a C - pattern, then the 2 inside angles, if you add them up, it will = 180º. For a quadrilateral, if you add all 4 angles, it will equal 360º because there is 2 triangles in a quadrilateral so the sum of the angles would be increased by 180º. I hope this explanation helps!
Perfect!!
Thanks!
nice video i understood this very well
Thank you, and glad to hear that!
I need an an ACTUAL challenge
I will be doing some challenging ones soon!
I find it easier to multiply 4 by 2 and then add 3, or is that just me?😅 Honestly, all the added brackets just confuse me and make it look more difficult then it actually is in my opinion.
That's what he did just in your brain you didn't use brackets
@@R4Y4_08 True, but the visualization with the brackets and crossing out the same variables seems unnecessary, for me atleast. 😅
I added the brackets so that people know how I got rid of the fraction. It's not necessary to show but because this equation is simple, I thought I would show that step otherwise if it was a long and difficult equation then it would be incredibly displeasing to look at and just add only the important steps!
I added the crossing out for fun here and I would only do it for simple equations! 😅
@@mathematicsaa515 i understand, in my case it's just personal preference haha
Just bring the 2 on the other side, then the multiplication becomes division. Making it 3/2×4 = 3/8
That works and actually looking at it now, it is best to just divide by 2, but both methods work fine!
I'd just divide by 2. 2x / 2 = x 3/4 / 2 = 3/8 x = 3/8
That also works too!
Just /2 both sides
That works too but I find that to take a little longer to solve but both methods work fine!
You could just do 60 + 40 = x because of the remote interior angle theorem
Yep that works too!
It's not a big deal since most people will understand anyways but in English, if you say "subtract 180 from 64", it actually looks like 64-180 not 180-64. The correct way is to say "subtract 64 from 180". I know it's kinda backwards. Addition actually works the same way, it's just that addition can be swapped and still be the same value so saying "add 5 to 10" (10+5) and saying "add 10 to 5" (5+10) end up being the same number, 15. Nice video though!
I see what you are saying and I didn't even realize that until now lol. I appreciate your comment!
Or just do 180⁰ - 40⁰ - 60⁰ to get 80⁰, and remove that from the 180⁰ that makes up the bottom line to get 100⁰
Yep you can also do that as well, as long as you get the right answer and the steps you've taken are done right!
Thanks I was confused now I’m good at it
thx my maths exam for my sats exam is coming up and i needed this
I'm a month late but glad I could help!
Easy you know that there's 6 triangles acute triangle, right triangle, obtuse triangle, scalene triangle, isosceles triangle and equilateral triangle
Can you please explain once again 😊
just watch the video again it ain’t real life
U can watch the video once again❤😅
👍👍👍
aligato konishiwa
Okay easy way : 180-26=154 154 divided by 2 =77 easy
oh ez you take 2x and divide two so 180 - 26. 77
Sooooooo simple Wow 😅😅😅😅😅😅
GUYS SO BASICALLY FOR EVERYONE WHO IS CONFUSED, in an isosceles triangle, 2 of the sides, and 2 of the angles are equal. AND, if you add all 3 sides of a triangle, you get 180, this guy said the angles at the bases are same. we can take the angle as X, and since there are 2 angles at the base, we make it X+X = 2X so according to what i said above, an equation gets formed 2X + 26 = 180 (2 of the unknown angles at the base + 3rd angle = 180) (180 as all 3 angles added = 180) then you bring 26 to the other side and change the sign so it becomes 2X = 180-26 then 2X = 154 so X = 77
I don’t need math to prove its a triangle
Nice❤❤
But it's wrong my class teacher told me that this is totally wrong 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Only works for isosceles triangle
Thx bro lots of help
Thanks
EXAMPLE: /\ <- The top angle is 26°. / \ /____\ <- While the 2 bottom angle is still unknown. So how do we search for the other angle's? First we are going to do a little bit of algebra: 2X + 26° = 180°. 2X came from the X + X + 26° = 180°. And then we will do the subtract: 2X + 26° - 26° = 180° - 26°. We will left with: 2X = 154°. Now we will divide each side with 2: 2X ÷ 2 = 154° ÷ 2 X = 77° We have found the answer! Now we will plug it into the 2X: 2(77°) + 26° = 180° 154° + 26° = 180° /\ <- 26° / \ 77° -> /____\ <- 77° I hope for those who still confused can understand!
Reason?
Isosceles
Isosceles triangle have two same angle😅
2 equal sides genius
How did u get 2?
He just halved it
he got the 2 as there r 2 sides
because the angles on the base need to be equal or congruent so he divided it by 2 to get the same number
You are right I am also confused about w
U HAVE HELPED ME SO MUCH MY TEACHERS COULDN’T OF DONE ANY BETTER THAN THIS THANK YOU!!!❤❤❤
Good
From where did you get 26° ?
It's the question
it's a given, without it we wouldn't be able to make a conclusion
The protractor. DUH!
Ok
Thx
