WOW it is great to see Sal after so many years. We went through all our training together at Harmony Church Fort Benning. Charlie 4/30. I watched this man put a 15ft piece of power pole across his shoulders and run up and down the hill between our barracks lol

He served the Union for 3 years and 3 months. He experienced a very difficult time. Was wounded with buckshot in his left calf running ammunition & ambulance duty as a Wagonmaster during the siege of Petersburg. I'm a huge American history buff, especially the Revolutionary and Civil War. Thanks, again...
