In 2026 whether the CEC will be under 500

I was a student and applied for my pgwp along with my husband’s sowp who is already in Canada and working. At the time of application oct 2024 i was not having any job fresh off work permit. Just today my husband got refused for his SOWP saying that spouse(me) does not have Teer job requirement which rule came in Jan 2025 . What should i do ? I don’t have any teer applicable job now too…. But the decision came according to new rule pls help 🙏🏻

Hi Mr Madhur, Thanks for your insight! Actually I’ve been trying to check around to see if anyone has an answer to my question. When should we expect the In-Canada focus category? It was stated that majority will come from CEC but few from FSW, FST and other regional pathways. But sincerely speaking the FSWs candidate that are INLAND are not been considered except for those who also qualifies for category based draws like health care and French. Does it mean that it might be difficult to figure out that not all FSWs are Outland? Paining to the fact that General draws has been banned for now

Hello thank you for information, I have a question my wife has PGWP valid till 01/05/2025 and I my SOWP is valid till 30/04/2025 I have applied for extension, my wife works in tier 4 and I work is a Car dealership in parts department I also have a full time job, will I be eligible for the extension or as the decision is pending and might get decision after the new rule come into effect, will I get the work permit or it might get rejected.
