YOKINTO, whose real name is Joshua Abah Emoche is Afrobeats and Hiphop Artist based in Nigeria hub city, Lagos. YOKINTO’s music discovery and creative journey started at his early teenage age. He is mostly inspired and influenced by life, nature, the street, hustle, Love. When he isn’t making music, he is either playing basketball or reading something.

YOKINTO believes that his journey so far has been one of ease due to the fact that his sound is special. He says that what makes his sound so unique is because of how genuine and authentic he approaches creation. Regardless of how delusional he may sound in his music, YOKINTO asserts that originality is his watchword.

YOKINTO is heavily influenced by ace afrobeats acts such as Tekno, Omah Lay, Wizkid and Bella Shmurda. Although he seeks inspiration in others, he believes that what he creates by drawing inspiration from all of these influences still comes from his heart.
