His Dad is a gem, recognizing his son's talent and helping him along the way. Once Jake moves from covers to originals, he will be a monster! His command of fretwork at the age of ten is truly astounding.

What most impresses me is his timing. He never missed a beat. To quote Vader, "Impressive....most impressive."

What is completely amazing in my opinion is that the band and this kid were able to pull off such a complicated show without any form of practicing, familiarity, foresight on playing style, absolutely nothing, and this happened. Seasoned pros will have an extremely hard time pulling that off. For something like this to go as well as it did is just unreal. Well done guys.

It's actually amazing that the Band kept up with him on a cover that obviously they don't play every day; because Jake had it cold like Yukon ice! It's so easy for the band to have a hiccup in a live situation playing a request that's not on the set list. A powerful moment for everyone involved and for every kid with motivation!!

I've watched this like a billion times, that kid is going places holy shit. Not only does he play a whole entire song almost perfectly at 10 years old, he has an amazing stage persona and is a very natural performer. I am 15 and learning electric guitar, I am so inspirated.
