Seiko 7009A Restoration Part 1 - Disassembly
Disassembly of a Seiko 7009A movement that I am planning to restore.
I am a hobbyist watch repairer, so I know that several of the things you see or hear in this video might be wrong. I'm still learning.

Thanks for posting this, it's helping me with disassembly. Not used to Seikos...

Where’s next part 2 video 😂 3years video without assembly 😂
These clean 7009 shining 😊
Did you upload the reassembly anywhere? I don’t see it on your channel and I need it to put the movement back together!
Awesome video! im breaking down the same movement but i really need to see that spring assembly part, mine did the same thing and i have no idea how to get it back together.. hahaha! just my luck. Any one have reference to that or this same movement without the spring flying off? I'd greatly appreciate it!
Face down no hands...full force is on second hand pinion..
Love your channel name! Everytime I drop a screw...or some part goes flying I too am a dumbass watchvrepairer!

Is it possible to replace a 7009A by a 7S26
hello sir, do you have any DIY steps on how to pull back the crown lever for 7002, i accidentally put in the crown without pressing the small lever, then now I could not adjust my watch & date. hope you could help me. thanks!!!
I’ve watched other people to watch repair. You would be by far the best. Soothing voice and relaxing music. I subscribed. Hopefully to see part 2 sometime. If not. Still a good video man.
Thank you verry much. I'm Vietnamese. I Seiko 5. A7009 208A.
You are the man! I got some old Seiko 5 watches and the stem broke and I was looking online how to get it out to replace it. Thanks!
Come on man. Let's see the assembly video now please :-) Part 2 ...
Thank you :-).
You are pretty good. I been doing for a year in August. After retirement. Got so bored 😐 love this challenge. Only spend 20-30 min a day Looks pretty clean and ✨ shiny

I have a really old Seiko 5 7009 496 L R. gifted by my late uncle and I believe he bought it in the 70s during his military life. But unfortunately it fell and glass is broken. Showed it to a local watch maker in new delhi but said he couldn't do it. Would you be interested ?
Excellent parts watch🤔🆗 what about part 2 ?
Hey hey amazing vidéo, whe need the next now 🤗😁 thank you so much.
Amazing! When do we get part 2?
Part 2........
Nice
I'm just taking this up as a hobby as well, and I am currently tearing down the exact same movement. This video was really helpful. I'll be watching it over and over to reference as I continue my disassembly. Thanks!! Subscribed and liked.
I just got this movement torn down today after being gifted it since it didnt run. Last service seems to have been nearly 30 years ago
If you had your fingers, hair and other body parts out of the way it would have been better..
