Legacy Hill Servant Leadership programs 2024
The Legacy Hill Servant Leadership program is so close to my heart. These 6 interns worked all day every day for 5 weeks with a smile on their faces to prepare and execute summer camp, and they did it for the glory of God. Camp could not have been what it was this year without them. I watched them push when they had no energy left, because seeing lives transformed for Christ was something that truly mattered to them. We spent SO much time together, sweating, laughing, dancing, crying, just like a family. I love each of them and am thankful I was able to serve alongside them this year. Sorry. not true. Salzburg was then part of Bavaria. Germany was formed as a nation 1871.

It was one of the territories of the Bavarian circle within the Holy Roman Empire - same as Bavaria itself. Salzburg became part of Bavaria in 1809 - years after Mozart's death. Mozart was never inhabitant of the predescessors of today's Bavaria. He was living in Salzburg, Bavarian Circle, Germany (Holy Roman Empire).
There are a lot castles much nicer than Neuschwanstein in Germany. Neuschwanstein is only famous because Disney took it as a template.

The baverian King Ludwig II was obsessed with castles. He build two further castles and soon Baveria was bankrupt. They received a credit and they had to give up the souverainity and had to join the newky formed Germany.

It's Hohenschwanstein. Hohenschwangau is the castle of his parents where he grew up...;-) His is white, theirs is yellow.

@@tytartaglia_006 Fun fact you certainly missed, I suppose. There is a small sub alpine lake below the Hohenschwangau castle and that is no joke, it is the Swan Lake. Swimming in it at a certain position makes the following: You are in crystal clear alpine waters and it is freaking cold, you see Hohenschwangau right above at the the hilltop emerging from the lake and in the far back you can see Neuschwanstein. This picture I will never forget swimming there. I thought I was in I don't know where, but not reality. 🙂

At that time there was no Germany, but the German Reich (HRR). This included e.g. also today's Austria. Vienna was the capital of the HRR. Of course Mozart was German, what else?
