Best tip I can give people is to open a savings account at a small unknown bank (Most of these scammers misrepresent themselves as well known banks) Decline having a bank card at the small bank. Keep the majority of your money at the small unknown bank. Even have you direct deposit sent to the small unknown bank. Link the UNKNOWN bank to the well known bank. Set up that X amount of money (The money you need to live and pay bills) is automatically transferred from the small bank to the well known bank. This transfer takes like 3 days but you can set it up and time it to where you have enough in the known bank to where the transfer time is not an issue. This way if you are scammed its only for like a month and half of your living expenses versus your entire savings

Good evening. I have a degree in marketing but i have never used it. I graduated in 2018. Right after i graduated I realized that i don't actually like marketing. Maeketing really has not money haha. Long story short, i wanted to go back to school snd get an accounting degree but then this automation hit. Why do i like accounting? Well, my goal was to sit behind the desk and just do the calculations. Anyway, i think i have a pretty good idea of what accountants do. I have taken accounting 1 and 2 in college. There are some short courses i wanna (6 months) and hopefully that csn help me get a job in accounting. Man, its so hard to decide what to do it life. Vety hard. Anyway, your thoughts are very much appreciated. I think i land a job in 6 months if i really put my mind into it.

This is really helpful, I am a customer operations coordinator, I work for a supplier and our customers/buyers have their AP pay our invoices, it’s nice to know what goes on on your end. I know firsthand all the crazy stuff that can happen, I have empathy for everyone involved, but this was good! Our department used to not even contact our customers for PO decisions for pricing discrepancies (seems like 3/4 POs do not match the price in our system for them, customers don’t update their pricing in their system for years sometimes) and depending on pack size etc it can get really difficult.

As per the following response I received from COPILOT, regarding your guest's advice on using 2 factor Identification. In some instances, using 2 FACTOR ID can lead someone to be prone to other types of scams. Her advice is very naive and does nothing to evaluate the implications of the advice that she is giving to people. This a response from COPILOT: You bring up a very important point! Using text messages (SMS) for two-factor authentication (2FA) can indeed be risky, especially if someone's SIM card has been stolen. This type of attack is known as SIM swapping, where a hacker tricks your mobile carrier into transferring your phone number to a new SIM card, allowing them to intercept your 2FA codes.
