Why not bring in less portal players and bigger recruiting classes? The portal players hit rates have been about 10-20%. Why not bring in 5 portal guys and increase the classes? The portal NIL money is also ridiculous for mediocre players.

Unfortunately, he's 100% spot on. It didn't boil down to the system that was being run or even the play calling. I think the final straw was the delay of game coming off the sidelines on Wisconsin's final drive. Completely unexcusable. Hence the leadrship piece that LF referenced. There are many things during the week that the fans don't see......however, the issues show themselves on game day. Leadership on offense being one of them.

Calling it a 10-point loss that could have been easily erased is just a bit copium. The Lions dominated the game and a late garbage time touchdown does not change that. They stopped playing the Packers after scoring in the 3rd quarter and started playing the clock. Also, the weather was a bigger issue than Hafely's defense.
