With all my heart, I would love this Maori version to be the New Zealand Anthem. I cried and cried whilst listening to this beautiful song, it's just amazing.❤
1:59 when the chorus rises 🤌
When I was travelling around NZ a couple tears ago, I went to a Maori village and there was a performance of this song and I never forgot it. I love this song.
Wherever I am when I hear this song im home so proud to be Maori and always will be brings me to tears because my nanny and koro used to sing this to me as a baby
Me too cuzzy...i love this waiata🥰😁👍🏾

God bless New Zealand, we all of one blood, God's word says so, I'm a pakeha and love our buetiful Maori people, they are precious and are our heritage.
I learned this song from my teacher in the 1970s and I sing it well...PNG
Great man of God
Wow just beautiful I've got chills has I listen to this tears are flowing
So glad I found your channel brother. I've literally been speaking about this in Ōtepoti. I'm Ngāpuhi and been living here 53 years. It's Maori revival ⏲️ ⏳️ 🙏
Those bagpipes bring music to my ears. So phanomenol 🔥🔥💯
Tears are coming from my eyes...I have been in NZ for more than 25 years, these Maori songs are so close to my heart...! Especially this one is one of my favorites!❤
This starts loud, keeps getting louder, and just when you think it can't get any louder it does. A real shout fest. I had to turn down down my Mac volume to almost nothing. The cat was terrified.
❤
The Bagpipes CAN do it! 😭😂
This rendition is heavenly
Civ 6 brings me here. I love this calm music when I play as Kupe. Wonderful song.
100% of Australians will be saved, 100% healed, 100% set free, 100% controlled by the Holy Spirit and "giving complete expression of the divine nature" col 2 9-23, Amen.
🥰💛🥰💛🥰💛🥰💛🥰💛🥰💛
So beautiful ❤
Wow. I love this .What beautiful voices and and the bagpipes .Best version ever
Awesome scene
beside of the song i like quite much, a strange video: maori standing massively outnumbered against a mass of "paheka" playing scotch music? And an behind the maori main body a guy conducting and wearing a colonial british pith helme (NZ are no tropical africa). Then those maori do some kind of dance movements I cannot bring together with even newer tradtions....if so they also could have danced some viennese valtz. It is too studied, toostaged... It is leaving me with some question marks.
The time is now my fine people of ATUA we be the chosen one's 🙏 I hate Jew Jesus 🖕 I be Maori ⚖️ Jeebus 🤙
I worship at the church on Vivian st. now called Wellington CRC that Smith Wiggleswoth visited and had a meeting. We have a plaque on the wall in rememberence of his visit to Wellington and our church. This Sunday we remember him in a special way as we get together for a prayer meeting to pray for the nation, Wellington and other needs. I have heard about bits and pieces of what happened 100 years ago. Thank you for sharing more details and recoding this video.
No matter who sings this it will never beat it being done by the people who own the song ...The Maori People....love and total respect to y'all
I'm tearing up as I listen to this and I'm not even a New Zealanders or Maori
11 years ago I went to a conference on the Gold Coast it was held at the mansion of a minister whos first name was Brian a lovely person. There were about 40 people in the room approximatly 20 Australians , about 10 1st Nations people the rest were Maori's the main speaker was also a Maori he stood up the front with a white board, black felt pen, he wrote diagrams and spoke for nearly an hour and a half. I had no idea what he was talking about fast forward to today I know a lot more .There were also 3 bankers in the room and a federal MP and his wife. An hour into the presentation a lady stood up pointed to the front and said " We know there is a problem Worldwide none of us knows how to fix it he does, he has the blueprint for change." I'm sitting there thinking what is this lady smoking" !5 minutes later a man stands up and says " The change will happen but it will not happen without Maori, Maori are the key to change."
Great song and wonderful done love 🇳🇿 nz and long to go back their

Apostle Rawiri Love it is November 2021. I listened again to the word from El Shaddai from Your mouth. Today I was so lifted up, so knelt down, so raised up with full confidence to move with the wind of His breath, with His Authority, with His Plan for our nation Aotearoa and the nations. The indigenous of this nation He has prepared and preparing. Thank you Rawiri Apostle of Aotearoa. I met you once in my 30’s I am now 68 yrs today. If you are ever in Turanganui a kiwa Haere Mai, Nau Mai e te Rangatiratanga.
It's flooding yearly it's called the wet season , or rivers in the dry season ? Are you accountable for your words ?
maby!
he means rivers of the Holy Spirit, are you accountable for your freemason/kabbalah demons?
Crying through this. When Maori folk sing it's extraordinary, passionate & so moving. I have always been drawn to Maori songs, most of all their company. I love them.
Amen look what's happened the darkness has come over New Zealand but the lord will shine his light over his remnant and people will know that it was the lords doing ✝️
Amen. Thank you for this Word. I was Uluru just after New Year 2020 and it was raining on the Rock. This scripture (Isaiah 43:18,19) has been THE word all through this year 2021, it has turned up continuously in so many prophets' words, so I say this is a good word and true, thank you from Australia.
We are now in the New Era. Thank you Lord and bless you with More words for today
Aotearoa.......,,Godzone......
We had the privilege of visiting New Zealand many years ago and we heard this song sung by a male singer! It was and still remains the most beautiful rendition of the tune we have ever heard! This is the closest to the original I have heard! ❤️
I lived in NZ 1974-1981 and had many Maori friends. Visited Rotoroua many times and loved seeing concerts etc. Was back in 2018 for a visit with friends for a week but I could not really let them see what I had the pleasure of experiencing over the time I lived there in Auckland area and the friends I met.
This is awesome!!!
Preach it brother
You inspire me to expect God to intercede
